this is goodbye for me.
i know its true im loosing you.
love sang a song for me.
then thingswent wrong for me.
night are too long for me.
because im loosing you.
our love and our devotion.
and you.
became a perfect stranger.
someone is holdin you sharin the lips i knew.
icant believe its true that i am loosing you...
i cant believe it true that im loosing you...
The song Losing You by Nora Aunor is a poignant ballad about a love that is slipping away. The lyrics speak to the sadness and regret of realizing that someone you love is no longer with you. The opening lines, "Don't sight or sight from me, don't ever cry for me, this is goodbye for me," hint at the inevitability of the situation. The singer is saying goodbye, but not necessarily by choice. She has lost the one she loves and is powerless to stop it.
The chorus, "Love sang a song for me, then things went wrong for me, nights are too long for me, because I'm losing you," is a beautiful and melancholy reflection of the singer's despair. The metaphor of love singing a song is powerful because music and love are two things that are closely intertwined. When love is lost, it can feel like the music has gone out of your life.
The second verse describes the singer's confusion and hurt when the person she loves starts to change. "Someone is holding you, sharing the lips I knew," she sings, highlighting the pain of seeing someone you love move on with someone else. The repeated line, "I can't believe it's true that I am losing you," emphasizes the sense of disbelief and shock that often accompanies the end of a relationship.
Overall, Losing You is a heartfelt song about love, loss, and the pain of moving on.
