1) Northside is a band from the suburbs of Blackley and Moston in North Manchester, England. Founded in 1989 by Warren "Dermo" Dermody (vocals/lyrics) and Cliff Ogier (bass), the band released their debut and only album, "Chicken Rhythms," on Factory Records in 1991. Northside was part of the 1990s Madchester/baggy/indie-rave scene. Michael Upton (guitar) and Paul Walsh (drums) later joined the band, replacing Timmy Walsh, who played guitar in their first single, "Shall We Take A Trip." The single was banned by the BBC for its references to drugs, but it broke into the UK Singles Chart Top 50 despite the lack of airplay.
Northside's next single, "My Rising Star," was released in October 1990 and reached No. 32 on the chart. "Chicken Rhythms" peaked at No. 19 in June 1991, produced by Ian Broudie. In 1991, the band scored a minor hit in the United States when their single "Take 5" reached No. 5 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. The band split up after their label Factory Records declared bankruptcy in 1992, despite having recorded a second album.
In 2003, Dermo and Ogier formed Silent Partners, while Walsh played with Manchester rock band Sons of the Stage. In 2006, Northside played gigs in Leeds and Manchester, and the album "Chicken Rhythms" was re-issued on LTM Recordings. Dermo formed V Thirteen in March 2011. In 2014, Northside reunited with all four original members and toured England. In 2017, Dermo released his debut single "Vultures" on Eromeda Records and recorded his debut solo album set for a 2018 release.

It’s even funnier when you understand what a KPI target means. A key performance indicator measures the performance and efficiency of a certain process. One of the aspects of KPI is that it must be well defined and measureable since it’s meant to be an objective measure. Examples of KPI can be increasing sales, decreasing costs, improving customer satisfaction, and decreasing the probability of defects. Honestly, he shouldn’t have even brought this up and just kept it vague, because bringing up KPI just proves that this season was objectively a failure.
So, according to this definition, they don’t even realise that they have failed to reach this “KPI target” that they are talking about. They failed to win the league, there were defects in performance in the past couple of months, and there was low efficiency in these games or in the transfer window.
Unless of course, you suddenly change the composition of the KPI and which indicators you want to look at when you don’t reach the initial target, which is what they’re doing here. Essentially flip-flopping.
Blew an 8-point lead which swung into a 3-4 point disadvantage or will do when Man City beat Chelsea. Winning the game against Brighton would have put you within 1 point of them. Not very efficient. Conceding more goals than Chelsea who were 12th and in danger of relegation. Not really efficient either. Drawing games often or having to come back from 2 goal deficits. Also not efficient or indicative of good performance.
It irks me when these so called “super fans” use terms that they don’t even know the definition and application of in order to excuse failure. By DEFINITION, they have failed to reach any KPI target. You can argue that the targets at the start of the season didn’t even exist since they weren’t well defined or measurable in the first place; they’re always ambiguous and vague when it comes to club football targets in England, and the goal posts keep changing.

Great seeing you two on stream together 👍🏻 AFTV is so embarrassing and I understand why all the other fanbases wanted us to bottle it.
@FreeSpeechStudios111
United fan here. Big fan of Jez and his analysis of Arsenal whenever I watch his fancam on Lee's channel. Well educated and proper knowledge of ball and his club. Much love and respect, Northside and Jez.
@YungCee881

@alexdunlop9762
This idea that expectations are fixed at the start of the season is complete nonsense. If Newcastle bottle top 4, are they gonna say "oh well, we were only expecting to come 7th"
@mohammedmohsin2128
KPI's is what they talked about when I worked at Virgin Media and I didn't even care then as sometimes it felt like they cared about perception of good work by using stats rather than actual good work
@andz3788
Speak your truth brother . I unsubscribed when they booted Claude. Ever since, they’ve just become a major PR circus just to push toxic positivity and delusion to not upset Edu. These players will give up season after season because they know there will be no major accountability from the fans nor the board.
