As i watch this I remember when I first fell in love. The feeling of love towards a person like Joey showing in this vid is how I remember that I did not fell for that person because of the physical appearance but what i felt at that moment. for starters, Angie came from a wealthy family. Her financial independence and stability helped her early trans days. Also, she had wonderful support from people around her. Her family, spouse and friends got her back. Angie's journey is quite rare in trans community.
Majority of trans do not have Angie's privileged background.
A trans from poor background usually suffers the most.
This docu is opening our eyes into the privilege life of Angie. Very rare indeed.

In other words Joey is in denial. She can only hang on while Joey finds her complementing his feminine side. In all ways in this vid Joey was trying hard to have a glimpse of Ian, trying to make sense of what's going on. If I were her, it's best to take and embrace the pain of separation right now than invest in this whatever you call it. The "concept" of transgender is something that I've never understood or even wanted to understand until I watched this program. Joey is one of the most incredible women I've ever seen. Real, loving, completely in touch with her emotions and her womanhood. To have your spouse transition has got to be incredibly difficult...and for two people to understand that marital love and commitment is about persevering through the darkest times is both rare and inspiring. Angie, this video here really inspires me as I came out from Christopher to Lauren in 2021 September and this process you have and or still are going through is really mentally, emotionally and physically helping me understand and be more at peace with myself. i can't stop crying.... i feel, admire, break, stand and all that Joey is. She is supernatural being able to do all these in the name of love.

The same way i idolize Angie, i don't know if i had that same strength and courage to be out and just live truth, life, love. This is one of the most beautiful love stories I've ever seen.
