Siempre, siempre
Te seguiré adorando
Más que ayer
Y seguiré anhelante
Sufriendo con la espera
Y seguiré esperando
Porque sé que vendrás
Yo sé que has sufrido
Lo indecible
Yo sé que ahora me quieres
Más que ayer
Y hoy solo nos espera
Vencer aquel orgullo
Y amándonos más que antes
Ir juntos hasta el fin
Yo luché entre tu amor y mi vida
Más perdida fue la lid
Y hoy que evoco aquellos días tan nuestros
Los deseos revivir
Yo sé que tú has sufrido
Yo sé que tú has llorado
Amémonos más que antes
Amémonos sin fin
Yo luché entre tu amor y mi vida
Más perdida fue la lid
Y hoy que evoco aquellos días tan nuestros
Los deseos revivir
Yo sé que tú has sufrido
Yo sé que tú has llorado
Amémonos más que antes
Amémonos sin fin
The song "Confesion" by Olimpo Cardenas is a declaration of love and devotion to a partner. The opening lines, "Te seguiré queriendo siempre, siempre" (I will continue loving you always, always) establish the unending nature of the singer's love. The repetition of "más que ayer" (more than yesterday) in both the first and second verses emphasizes the growing intensity of the singer's affection for the addressee.
The second verse reveals that the relationship has encountered difficulties in the past, likely due to pride and some form of conflict. However, the singer acknowledges that the addressee has also suffered and now perhaps loves them more than before. The lines "Y hoy solo nos espera/Vencer aquel orgullo" (And today there is only one thing left for us to do/Overcome that pride) suggest a willingness to reconcile and make amends to sustain the relationship.
The final verse reinforces the idea that the two have gone through a shared struggle and that the singer knows the addressee has suffered and cried. The repetition of the phrase "amémonos más que antes" (Let us love each other more than before) highlights the theme of the song: the power of love to transform, heal, and strengthen even the most challenging relationships.
