2. Omnia is an electronic dance music producer, his track Stick in monday was featured in the Trance Mix Mission Podcast.
Man behind it all, is Evgeny Smirnov. Born in 1987, he would grow up with a diverse taste in music, loving and exploring the beauty of different genres. In the 90’s, he turned his passion for EDM into a hobby and started toying around with producing programs. After discovering trance music, Evgeny knew which path to follow and started developing his sound into this direction.
At the end of 2006, when Evgeny was only 20 years old, he concentrated on creating his own, quality tracks and saw big names like Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Above & Beyond play his tracks and remixes on the radio and during gigs. Remixes on ‘Ørjan Nilsen – La Guitarra’ and ‘Armin van Buuren feat. Jacqueline Govaert – Never Say Never’ put Omnia’s name on the map.

Enlightenment has opened our eyes
Snow lies sleeping around our cabin of felled trees
Like the wild ones we seek shelter within them
Like the wild ones we seek shelter
By the light of burning logs
Your notes throw shadow on your keys
So free and so at ease
So free and so at ease
Your soul and being expressed
Trough the sound of your song
Sing for life (sing for life)
Sing for love (sing for love)
Sing for life (sing for life)
Sing for love (sing for love)
For only music
Can show you the way
To go home
Every night and every morn
Some to misery are born
Every morn and every night
Some are born to endless night
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (Sweet delight)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (Endless night)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (Sweet delight)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho
God appears and God is light
To those poor souls who dwell in night
But does a human form display
To those who dwell in realms of day
But does a human form display
To those who dwell in realms of day
What appears as God at night
Is but a man within the light
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (God at night)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (In the light)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (Sweet delight)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho
To see a world in a grain of sand
And heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour
A robin readbreast in a cage
Puts all of heaven in a rage
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (In a cage)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (In a rage)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (Sweet delight)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (Endless night)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho (Sweet delight)
Sing newaling a ring roho
Sing newaling a ring roho
It is right it should be so
Life was made for joy and woe
The lyrics of Omnia's song "Auguries of Love" describe a peaceful life in nature where the singer is enlightened and seeks shelter in a cabin made of felled trees in the forest. The singer is accompanied by a musician who plays the keys with ease and freedom while throwing shadows with the light of burning logs. The singer praises the musician for expressing their soul and being through their music, which can show the way to go home to a joyful life. The lyrics invoke the idea that humans can find divinity in both light and darkness, as what appears as God at night is just a man within the light.
The song also alludes to the opening lines of William Blake's poem "Auguries of Innocence," which suggests that every life is born with a certain destiny. The lyrics suggest that while some are born to misery, others can use music to find a path to a joyful life. The last lines of the song state that life is made for both joy and woe, implying that one cannot exist without the other, and that both are necessary for a balanced life. Overall, "Auguries of Love" is a song expressing a desire for a simple, peaceful life in nature, where music can be used to transcend the mundane and reach a state of enlightenment.
