2. Omnia is an electronic dance music producer, his track Stick in monday was featured in the Trance Mix Mission Podcast.
Man behind it all, is Evgeny Smirnov. Born in 1987, he would grow up with a diverse taste in music, loving and exploring the beauty of different genres. In the 90’s, he turned his passion for EDM into a hobby and started toying around with producing programs. After discovering trance music, Evgeny knew which path to follow and started developing his sound into this direction.
At the end of 2006, when Evgeny was only 20 years old, he concentrated on creating his own, quality tracks and saw big names like Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Above & Beyond play his tracks and remixes on the radio and during gigs. Remixes on ‘Ørjan Nilsen – La Guitarra’ and ‘Armin van Buuren feat. Jacqueline Govaert – Never Say Never’ put Omnia’s name on the map.
The Mercy Seat

A blackened tooth, a scarlet fog
The walls are bare, black, bottom kind
They are sick breath at my hind
They are sick breath at my hind
They are sick breath at my hind
They are sick breath gathering at my hind
How Christ was born into a manger
And like some ragged stranger
Died upon the cross
And might I say it seems so fitting in its way
He was a carpenter by trade
Or at least that's what I'm told
My good hand tatooed E.V.I.L. all across it's brother's fist
That filthy five! They did nothing to challenge or resist
In Heaven His throne is made of gold
The ark of his Testament is stowed
A throne from which I'm told
All history does unfold
Down here it's made of wood and wire
And my body is on fire
And God is never far away
Into the mercy seat I climb
My head is shaved, my head is wired
And like a moth that tries
To enter the bright eye
So I go shuffling out of life
Just to hide in death awhile
And anyway I never lied
My kill-hand is called E.V.I.L.
Wears a wedding band that's G.O.O.D.
Tis a long-suffering shackle
Collaring all that rebel blood
And the mercy seat is waning
And I think my head is glowing
And in a way I'm hoping
To be done with all this weighing of the truth
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth
And anyway I told the truth
And I'm not afraid to die
And the mercy seat is glowing
And I think my head is smoking
And in a way I'm hoping
To be done with all this truth and consequence
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth
And anyway there was no proof
Nor a motive why
And the mercy seat is smoking
And I think my blood is boiling
Anyway I'm spoiling
All the fun with all this weighing of the truth
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth
And I've got nothing left to lose
And I'm not afraid to die
And the mercy seat is burning
And I think my head is melting
Anyway it's helping
To be done with all this weighing of the truth
An eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth
And I've got nothing left to lose
But I'm afraid I told a lie
"The Mercy Seat" is a powerful and intense song that explores themes of guilt, punishment, and redemption. The lyrics are filled with vivid imagery and religious symbolism, and the verses are structured as a series of thoughts and reflections of the song's protagonist.
The opening lines are particularly striking, as they describe the physical surroundings of the singer - a dark, stark room filled with sickening breath. This sets the tone for the rest of the song, invoking a sense of claustrophobia and unease.
The song then moves into a contemplation of Christ's life and death, with the singer acknowledging the irony of the carpenter dying on a cross. This segues into a discussion of the singer's own sins and guilt, with the use of the "E.V.I.L" and "G.O.O.D" tattoos on his hands symbolizing his inner turmoil.
The repeated refrain of "An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth" adds to the sense of struggle and tension throughout the song, and the final lines reveal the singer's sense of futility and despair. The line "But I'm afraid I told a lie" is particularly poignant, suggesting that even in the face of punishment, the singer cannot escape the weight of his own conscience.
Overall, "The Mercy Seat" is a powerful meditation on the nature of sin and guilt, punishment and redemption, with lyrics that are both personal and universal in their scope.

Ik vind deze muziek niet slecht ofzo, maar inderdaad te gladjes. Ik hoop toch dat ze ooit weer terug gaan naar de Paganfolk- en Alive-sfeer..
