The Chicago & Minneapolis-based musicians – Nate Eiesland, Alissa Ricci, and Ryne Estwing — that comprise the band had played music with one another in various capacities for the better part of a decade — most recently as members of indie-pop outfit Scattered Trees, with whom they were performing that very weekend. And while they’d always shared something of an unspoken musical connection, the three of them, at that very moment, felt a different sort of bond; together they had an insatiable impulse to flip the script on everything they had known about making music.
Conservative compromises would be a thing of the past; ON AN ON, as they would name their band, would make music and art that melted outside the lines. It was perfect timing: they were already scheduled to record in a Toronto studio in two week’s time with acclaimed producer, Dave Newfeld (Broken Social Scene). With a knack for genre-melding, and a boundary-pushing mindset, Newfeld would prove to be the perfect match for the trio’s new caution-less approach: synthesizers, scattershot electro beats and ambient ear candy would give guitars, bass and drums a newfound ghostly sheen. The end result was Give In, ON AN ON’s ten-track debut album – a dream-washed textural journey armed with a biting perspective on the commonality of loss. The affair sizzles with electricity and calls one in with its unnerved openness. It’s a project – and approach to music — the three musicians in ON AN ON had been waiting for.

@gpaull2 It's not stealthy. And its massive size is nice for CRAM, and CWIS. Basically, it looks like they just copied the rough shape of the Chinese J-20, which is hilariously not-stealthy. (India even picked up a J-20 that was allegedly in stealth mode from hundreds of miles away. lol)
For the love of god, we can see all the bolts on its panels even in this video. lol
Even with the OLD Nighthawk stealth technology, the engineers needed to minimize all bolt borders/exchanges.
Kudos for them making a great drone, natively. That's a huge accomplishment worthy of accolade. But it's basically, a J-20 shaped Bayraktar. Which is still great! But most western nations don't have to worry about it. Best thing about the Bayraktars are their small size. So this...just kinda negates that edge.
They were angry they weren't getting F-35s, and this is them acting out.

@Don Doni Yea these 2 are the start of the real combat drones.
Yea USA has a few MQ25 is a refueling drone.
Same company that built the AI in Ghost Bat built the AI in Taranis UK Stealth Bomber drone back in 2014. but not one word has come out about how good it is.
Australia set up a University research programme in to AI and laws and how much we can use AI in battles.
Australian defence walked out after a few months of a 3 year programme.
Guess Defence has other ideas on how far we use a AI in conflicts.
Australia has Ghost Shark now also a AI submersible drone using same AI as Ghost Bat.
Turning a ex Patrol ship in to AI now as well, and have 10 M113A Armoured vehicles turned to AI .
Also Australia has DefendTex D40 drones in use in Ukraine war. was a video of it droping a grendade into a Russian tank hatch.
It is a fully AI quad copter drone has drone swarm capability that can track multiple targets at once fully Autonomously.
UK and US military use it also.
Australia defence is going big in AI as a force multiplier because we have problem with low population and filling roles in our ADF.
Australian company will test fly a scramjet hypersonic drone also. scramjet reached Mach 10 in HIFIRE joint USA Australia hypersonic tests back in 2006. new generation of it reached Mach 12 in a tunnel test and say the drone will be around Mach 5

I love these Dark Docs, and all the other Dark shows you put on too. Literally these are the ones I look forward to the most. Watching this last episode I came to a realization. Never in my life have I ever used the phrase "more over" in my entire life. I wasn't even aware that it was something people said. Of Course I'm in Alaska and we are behind the times on some things
Alan Bird
The fact that you are in Alaska..."or more over"...to quote...one of the most untouched landscapes in the modern world. End quote!"
LaDonna Ghareeb
Be happy you live there, from what I've seen and heard It's absolutely beautiful.
Chad Snow
Moreover, we still enjoy the videos !

Remote radio-based control is an Achilles heel of every drone. Jamming is a persistent threat. You can’t build a drone-based Air Force.
Paranoid Times
but you can build an ai one, an airforce that acts on a mission plan, that thinks for itself,
CrystalPulsation Music
@Paranoid Timesfacts, especially if the computers are all independently programmed within the cabins.
Means that there should be no long range signal to jam, the computer is onboard just like a pilot would be
J. Erickson
@CrystalPulsation Music That's true. The computers will take over anyway. It is battle humans cannot win.
Paranoid Times
@CrystalPulsation Music that's how it is, will be, and is coming, the world is changing,

Near-future EMP munitions and applied tech will always be a thorn in the side of Drones. A ways off yet, but its the logical progression as a defence. UAVs will become very common for combined arms, but production and maintenance will become harder and harder...and keep them for specialised utility. I can certainly foresee the application of smaller swarms of combat aircraft automated as a hive-mind? like is lauded in post-modern sci-fi tropes. And if AI keeps going...it's a sign of the times. Turkey foreshadowing with this aircraft. Impressive.
