The band has included a number of lineup revisions over the years, but Hirasawa has always remained at the helm of creative operations.

P-Model officially disbanded in 1999 (20 years after its formation), although many of its members continue to release solo albums and collaborate with each other on different projects.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to P-MODEL's song CLEAR express an overwhelming sense of being lost. The singer is lost in time and space, unsure of whether they are in the future, paradise, or the universe. The opening lines speak of a "transfer" which is about to happen, which may signify a transportation of the singer to a new space. The reference to a "silver bike" speeding up gives the impression of the singer been propelled faster and faster towards a point of no return, towards the unknown.

The appearance of a "crystal edge" and "clear light" that the singer exists in and through hints that there is a sense of clarity to their existence, but this clarity is questionable, and uncertain as they do not know their destination nor where they are headed towards.
