The new album by the Australian duo Pnau, due out in summer 2011 and tentatively titled Soft Universe, is the finest example yet of their epic techno pop. The faster, more uptempo tracks - using their best-known songs to date, Embrace and With You Forever (the latter featuring Luke Steele of The Sleepy Jackson and Empire Of The Sun), as the template ' are their most accessible and uplifting ventures yet into the territory of supercharged anthemica.
For Nick, Elton's involvement has been a lifeline. 'He's been incredible at mentoring me through a period of depression,' he reveals. And Pnau have been able to return the favour, working on an album based on the songwriting legend's massive back catalogue, on a project that will amount to a thorough re-examination of his work. It is bound to cause tremendous interest in 2011.

Just why I love you so
Maybe it's just the way
That God made me this day
Baby, I don't know
Just why I love you so
Maybe it's just the way
Honey, I hear you
And I feel for you
It won't be too long till
We're back as one again
(Just love, just love, just love, and just love, and just love, and and again)
Baby, I don't know
Just why I love you so
Maybe it's just the way
That God made me this day
Honey, I hear you
And I feel for you
It won't be too long till
We're back as one again
(Just love, just love, just love, just love)
The lyrics to Pnau's "Changes" are simple yet poignant. The singer is expressing their strong feelings of love towards someone, but also acknowledging that they don't really understand why they feel this way. They suggest that perhaps it's just the way that God made them, implying that their love is almost beyond their control.
The second verse shows that there has been some kind of separation between the singer and the person they love, as they say it won't be too long until "we're back as one again." The repetition of "just love" at the end of the song reinforces the idea that love is all that matters and that it will bring them back together.
On a deeper level, the song seems to be about the unpredictable nature of love, and the way that it can take hold of us without us fully understanding why. The repetition of "Baby, I don't know / Just why I love you so" highlights this sense of mystery and uncertainty.
Pnau is an Australian electronic music duo that formed in 1999. Their hit song "Changes" was released in 2007 and was a collaboration with singer-songwriter Ladyhawke.

@Daniel Heeell no. This randomly popped up in my Instagram song recommendations, I've had an earworm from this song for like 3 years, back then I heard it in a TV show the last time. Since then I only remembered a few tiles, sadly without any lyrics. I've tried countless things in the search bar, it's just crazy, and finding it like so, oof
