Formula
Panchiko Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Doesn′t take any way
We've come some long ways
Just to come and pay
Then you come here
There′s no one in here, so
You're searching the wrong place
You're breaking it down, down, down
You′re coming around, ′round, 'round
You′re breaking it down, down, down (formula, oh)
You're counting around, ′round, 'round (I′ve seen so much)
In these lyrics from Panchiko's song "Formula," the singer seems to be reflecting on their journey and how it has led them to a certain place. They note that the end of the journey "ends the same way," suggesting perhaps that despite all they have done, they have not achieved their desired outcome. The lines "Doesn't take any way / We've come some long ways" suggest that they have tried many paths, but ultimately they have not succeeded. This feeling is further emphasized in the line "Just to come and pay," which seems to suggest that they have put in a great deal of effort, but still must pay some kind of price for their failure.
