How can I find a way to make you see I love you
Words don't come easy
Words don't come easy to me
This is the only way for me to say I love you
Words don't come easy
Well, I'm just a music man
But my words are coming out wrong
Girl, I reveal my heart to you and
Hope that you believe it's true 'cause
Words don't come easy to me
How can I find a way to make you see I love you
Words don't come easy
This is just a simple song
That I've made for you on my own
There's no hidden meaning you know when I
When I say I love you honey
Please believe I really do 'cause
Words don't come easy to me
How can I find a way to make you see I love you
Words don't come easy
It isn't easy words don't come easy
Words don't come easy to me
How can I find a way to make you see I love you
Words don't come easy
Don't come easy to me
This is the only way for me to say I love you
Words don't come easy
Words don't come easy
The lyrics to Patrice Roberts's song "Work 4 It" talk about the challenge of expressing love through words. The chorus repeats the line "Words don't come easy to me" to emphasize the difficulty of using language to convey deep emotions. The singer acknowledges that she is better at music than words, but she wants to find a way to communicate her feelings to her lover. She hopes that her music can convey the love she finds difficult to express in words. The singer says that this song is a simple expression of her love, without any hidden meanings.
The song touches on a common struggle in relationships - the challenge of expressing emotions in a way that feels authentic and meaningful. It can be challenging to find the right words to express love, especially when feelings are strong and complex. The singer acknowledges that words can feel insufficient or inadequate, which is why music can be such a powerful tool for conveying emotions.
Overall, "Work 4 It" is a heartfelt expression of love that acknowledges the challenge of communicating complex emotions. By using music to convey feelings that cannot be expressed in words, the song captures the power of music to connect us with our deepest emotions.
