Vintage Clothes
Paul McCartney Lyrics

Don't live in the past
Don't hold on to something that's changing fast
What we are, is what we are and what we wear
Is vintage clothes, vintage clothes, vintage clothes

We jump up for joy
Who cares if we look like a girl or boy
What we are, is what we are and what we wear
Is vintage clothes, vintage clothes, vintage clothes

A little more, a little tall
Check the rack
What went out, is coming back

Don't live in the past
Don't hold on to something that's changing fast
What we are, is what we are and what we wear
Is vintage clothes, vintage clothes

A little more, a little tall
Check the rack
What went out, is coming back

This song is absolutely excellent, I think some people need new ears!

Gabriela Buckhalter

The first time I heard this song was in a thrift store.

Graham Clark

"musically sort of static" ^ This phrase does not mean anything.

Rodrigo Kuerten

This song reminds me a lot of "If I Needed Someone" - the tune and the way Macca sings some verses.

Bob Macca

Paul sings " don't live in the past" but he makes a wonderful song that clearly looks to the 60's:) that's how he is:)

Dario Condo

temazooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LETSLEEPING DOGSLIE

Paul has always had these clever bass lines!

Janet Sampson

The vocals on this album are incredible and all of the vocals on it except for a couple of numbers are sung by Paul McCartney,he also played most of the instruments on the album as well, the man is just ridiculously talented. Bob.

Peter Nester

I like the Strawberry Fields - Mellotron touch.

Horacio Ramirez

Well said. If John was still alive he and Paul would've made up and possibly collaborated together. Even in 1979 when Paul, George and Ringo played at Eric Clapton's wedding, John was upset that he couldn't make it to join his mates.
