World Pleasure
Peace Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Aching, aching everywhere
I don′t feel it, you don't care
Everyone′s their father's sons
Feral youth and laser guns
Please don't send me off to war
That′s not what my body′s for
Maybe I was not born brave
Maybe I was born
Good looking
Showing everybody their bones
Hot cooking
Steaming??????????
Biting on the tip of your tongue??????????

What the world could be
When you talk to me
Give me energy
Let it be
Together
For everyone
Let the ocean come
When we get in touch(?)
For the world's pleasure

If you′re happy, raise your hand
Few five fingers(?), take a bow
Lawfully killed an English dirt(?)
Little hearts begin to hurt
New York city, cars and girls
Take a living, make a turn
Consciousness and capable
But it's not my mess
I′m too good looking
Showing everybody their bones
Hot cooking
Steaming??????????
Biting on the tip of your tongue??????????

What the world could be
When you talk to me
Give me energy
Let it be
Together
For everyone
When the ocean comes
Baby, get on top
For the world's pleasure

(Interlude)

What the world could be
When you talk to me
Give me energy
Let it be
Together
For everyone
Let the ocean come
When we get in touch(?)
For the world′s pleasure

What the world could be
When you talk to me
Give me energy
Let it be
Together
For everyone
Let the ocean come

When we get in touch(?)
For the world's pleasure

Overall Meaning

The song "World Pleasure" by Peace is an upbeat and energetic track that speaks about the desire to experience togetherness and positivity. The opening lyrics, "Aching, aching everywhere, I don’t feel it, you don't care" suggest a sense of disillusionment with the world and its problems. The following lines "Everyone's their father's sons, feral youth and laser guns" paint a picture of rising conflict and disconnection between individuals, with the mention of "laser guns" hinting at a dystopian future. The lines "Please don’t send me off to war, that’s not what my body’s for, maybe I was not born brave, maybe I was born" imply an unwillingness to partake in violence and a search for a higher purpose.

The chorus of the song declares a desire for unity and a better world, with the lyrics "What the world could be when you talk to me, give me energy, let it be, together for everyone, let the ocean come, for the world's pleasure." The chorus conveys a plea for people to come together, communicate and experience joy and pleasure, symbolized by the ocean. This is repeated in the second verse, which includes a reference to "Little hearts begin to hurt", possibly alluding to the idea of emotional distance between individuals and the hurt it causes.

Overall, "World Pleasure" speaks to the universal desire for connection in a world that can often feel divided, disordered and turbulent. By referencing societal concerns such as conflict, violence and emotional detachment, the song presents a message of hope and encourages people to come together for a collective purpose.

These guys are a seriously good band! In my opinion peace came into light at just the right time , there is so much bullshit being fed to music lovers these days and bands like peace really stand out as a band to change the game and bring real music back to our ears , they can only grow and grow and I'm so grateful for the music they produce

Destacan "World Pleasure", "O You", "Gen Strage" o "Fur".
Música independiente novedades.
