공감이 많이 가는 방송내용이었습니다. 얼터너티브락이라는 말 자체가 기존의 락씬을 대체한다는 의미로 그 당시 언론매체(?)에서 만들어낸 용어라서 80년대에 유행했던 헤비메탈이 90년대의 다른 트렌드의 락으로 변경되는 현상을 말하는 건데 너바나 한 밴드의 영향이라기 보다는 80년대의 현란하고 대중에 군림하는 느낌을 주는 헤비메탈 보다는 화려한지 않은 연주 스타일, 보다 친근한 느낌이 드는 그런지 락밴드가 당시 사회적 분위기에 많이 맞았기 때문이라고 생각이 듭니다. 그리고 시애틀 4인방을 비롯한 스매싱펌킨스, 스톤템플파일럿 등의 당시에 hot한 락밴드들은 대체적으로 실력도 좋았고 무엇보다 음악이 좋아서 인기를 끌었다고 생각합니다. 이번에도 재밌고 흥미로운 방송해주셔서 매우 감사합니다!

크... 90년대 감성... 싱글즈 OST 감상 들어갑니다. 제가 변종인지 모르겠는데 커트코베인 광팬이고 너바나를 엄청 나다고 생각해요. 고딩시절 네버마인드 앨범 껴않고 잔적도 있을정도로.. 근데 이상하게 그때 이후부터는 다른 8090밴드들은 겜성 폭발할때마다 돌아가면서 한동안 미친듯이 계속 듣는데.. 너바나 노래들은 다시 듣게 되진 않더라고요. 엘리스인체인스 Facelift나 펄잼 ten은 지금도 계속 듣고 있는데... 암튼... 그 시절에 참 즐길게 많아서 행복했던 어린시절을 보낸것 같습니다. 시간 참 빠르고 그립네요. 덕분에 이런 생각에 잠길 수 있어서 좋네요. 출근 전 회사 앞 뚜레쥬르에서 빵 먹고 있는데 추억의 Now 앨범을 틀어 놓은듯 ㅠㅠ Michael Learns to rock이 나오네요. 오늘 아침 졸라 좋네요

단순하게 얘기하면 80년대 헤비메탈까지가 거의 골수냐 아니냐의 기로인거 같습니다. 얼터너티브때문에 하위장르도 파생되고 지금까지 남녀젊은층에게 어필되는 단순한 작곡과 사운드. 연주 테크닉이 필요없는 뭉뚱그려 포스트모던락이 그나마 명맥을 유지.예전 780s관통하는세대와 그나마 90s 1020을 관통하는 세대들까지 화려한 연주와 강력한 사운드에 길들여져 소위 골수가 남아 있고 그 이후 세대에는 헤비메탈이니 스레쉬는 그저 시끄러운 소음으로 치부하는 기조가 있죠. 캬 싱글즈포스트를보니 당시 영화포스트 액자가 유행했었던기억이 납니다. 싱글즈. 인도차이나 이 두개가 카페나 집에 많아 팔렸었죠.
항상 잘보고 있습니다. 감사합니다. 아 그리고 존자님 말씀에 1000% 동의합니다. 유행은 대중이 선도하는게 아니라 이 세상도 소수가 지배하듯 문화의 유행을 주도하고 종용하는 소수의 세력이 있다고 확신합니다. 거대음반사도 그 중 하나가 되겠네요.
