Una Vez Mas
Pedro Capó Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
No he sabido de ti
Quiero volver a verte desnuda
The lyrics of Pedro Capó's song "Una Vez Más" convey a sense of longing and nostalgia for a past relationship. The singer expresses uncertainty about the whereabouts and current situation of their ex-partner, confessing that they have been checking their social media profile. Despite the emotional distance between them, the singer pleads not to be pushed away, emphasizing their presence and willingness to reconnect.
The lyrics also touch upon the idea of forgiveness and acceptance. The singer apologizes for any inconvenience they may have caused and acknowledges that it is nice to hear from their ex-partner. However, they question whether their ex's apparent happiness is genuine, suggesting that the person they knew before is not the same as the one they see now. This hints at a sense of disappointment or betrayal.
The chorus of the song highlights an important theme: the realization of what one had only after it is lost. The lyrics imply that both the singer and their ex-partner have experienced this loss. It is evident that they have gone through a separation or breakup, and this line serves as a reminder of the consequences of taking love and relationships for granted.
In the second verse, the perspective shifts to the ex-partner speaking to the singer. The ex-regrets missing a call from the singer and expresses an unintentional desire to reach out. They express a strong desire to see each other again, using sensual language to convey their longing. They ask for the singer's help, highlighting the emptiness and hunger they feel without them. The lyrics imply a sense of vulnerability and a realization that the singer is unique, comparing them to a sweet crescent moon.
The overall message of the song seems to be a plea to reconnect and find closure in the past relationship. Both the singer and the ex-partner acknowledge the mistakes and losses they have experienced. They long to see each other once more, suggesting that they want to reminisce and possibly reconcile. The repetition of the desire to see each other again throughout the song emphasizes the longing and unfulfilled connection they still feel.
