I am lucky to be able to dance to this wonderful piece.
It is true magic to listen to and can take your soul on a journey of its own.

I was fortunate to see the Australian Ballet perform a suite based on 'The Upper Room' which was stunning visually, artistically and musically. Kudos to Philip Glass for giving the world such interesting music.

@Ellington3

so moving and so beautiful when combined with the dance this is just pure magic and art.

@NealFord

Heard this for the first time back in '87 on CBC Radio 2's "Brave New Waves" . Fortunately I had just started recording the show, and was able to save it for posterity. I listened to that tape many times before the Internet gave us permanent access.

Canadian radio is so good. When I live in upper New York state, I listened to local radio stations from Canada which always seemed eclectic, transporting at times. I should have moved there. Now I'm too old. I don't think I romanticized it, since I visited Canada a lot.

@joselite

magic!
