Faccini began his music career in London in the band 'Charley Marlowe', which he fronted alongside the poet Francesca Beard. In 2001, the band ended and Piers started solo work. He writes music for television - notably the BBC docudrama 'Killing Hitler' - as well as painting. His first solo album and EP 'Leave No Trace' came out in 2004.
He has guested on a series of other albums some of which are released on the 'Label-Bleu' label.
His style is rhythmic and melodic. His album is mostly based around acoustic guitar riffs, whereas his earlier music and TV themes reflect his interest in dance music.
He is currently based in France.

All the Love in All the World
Piers Faccini Lyrics

You're hurt you want to go
No move left to play
No words you can say
Coming round your way
See the writing on the wall
Clap your hands hold your head
Close your eyes when you see red
Coming round your way
I can run
I can hide
I can't hold the rising tide
I can run
I can hide
I can't hold the rising tide
All the love in all the world
It turns for you and me my girl
To the river drag your bones
You're crying you're alone
See the colours see the lines
Fall far back behind
Coming round your way
And the light shines where it will
Stay now stay still
Clap your hands hold your head
Close your eyes when you see red
Coming round your way
I can run
I can hide
I can't hold the rising tide
I can run
I can hide
I can't hold the rising tide
All the love in all the world
It turns for you and me my girl
All the love in all the world
It turns for you and me my girl
In “All the Love in All the World,” Piers Faccini explores themes of desperation, sadness, and hope. The first verse portrays a person who is hurting and wishes to leave. They have no options left, no words that can adequately describe their pain. However, hope arises in the chorus, where Faccini sings about the love that exists in the world, which turns for everyone, especially the singer's beloved girl.
The second verse encourages the listener to pay attention, to look at the writing on the wall, and to clap their hands and hold their head, which indicates that it's time to wake up and make things better. The song's bridge speaks about the inevitability of change, no matter how much we may try to avoid it. The rising tide is symbolic of change and can't be stopped or held back.
The song ends with a final chorus, which reiterates the idea that love exists everywhere, and nobody is alone. “All the Love in All the World” is a song of hope, encouraging the listener to find the strength to face their challenges and search for the love that exists in the world.
