Pink Turns Blue Lyrics

You should die by my hand
A world unknown by men, a world beyond all suffering
Born of divine humour
I can't help it, either, that adam ate an apple
But I've to pay all the same
Life was always frightful, we all cannot help it
I'm responsible all the same
Condemned to live
Cause we are guilty
The everlasting war, between human and divine
Eternity and time
Better learn to listen, have no other desire
Than to pay and to pay and to pay
Understand it all, I will learn to love
The world of pleasure and dancing
Intoxicated warmth, the sinner's bound for hell
But I'm glad to take a kiss with me
Condemned to live
Cause we are guilty
You know where this other world lies, the world of your own soul
Leave the farce of reality behind you
Man's heart's contracted, by the kinds of fears
From his former, former life
An agony to witness, the fantastic extent
To which I learned to belie myself
Far deeper and stronger, more awful than all
I burned in the flame of love
The flame of love
The song "Taufen" by Pink Turns Blue is a reflective piece concerning the burden of being human and the inherent guilt that comes with it. The lyrics of the song touch on existential themes, such as the struggles between human and divine, as well as the internal conflict that one faces as they try to make sense of their place in the world.
The first verse of the song speaks to the singer's inner turmoil, as they feel responsible for their actions despite the fact that they were born into a world that is filled with suffering. They cannot help but feel guilty for the actions of their ancestors, as they are left to face the consequences of it. The second verse of the song delves deeper into the juxtaposition between pleasure and pain, as the singer learns to embrace the world of pleasure while knowing that they are bound for hell.
The final verse of the song shifts towards the idea of escaping reality and finding solace within oneself. The singer acknowledges the fears that plague humanity, but they also recognize the potential to rise above it all and burn in the flame of love. Overall, "Taufen" is a song that explores the complexities of life and the struggle to reconcile opposing forces within oneself.
