Yage
Pol Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

You and me

How angels

Save you quietly

I remember
When the sun cried silently

Now he made the senses

Don't look right at me

All I know is

That I felt your warm presence

When you smile

It's like the sky opens up

Do you believe me? 'Cause I

Am made of you?

Overall Meaning

In "Yage," Pol sings about a profound connection with someone else. The first two lines compare the pair to angels, perhaps implying that their bond is divine or otherworldly. The next two lines refer to a time when the sun wept silently, which could represent a moment of darkness or despair. However, the singer notes that they now perceive things differently, perhaps because of the presence of the other person.

The fifth line, "Don't look right at me," is a bit more puzzling. It could mean that the person's gaze is so intense that the singer feels exposed, or perhaps that the bond is so deep that it's overwhelming to acknowledge.

The final lines express the profundity of the connection: "All I know is/That I felt your warm presence/When you smile/It's like the sky opens up/Do you believe me? 'Cause I/Am made of you?" Here, the singer asserts that they feel completely intertwined with the other person, and suggests that this connection is both spiritual and physical.

Overall, "Yage" speaks to the transformative power of love and connection, and suggests that finding true intimacy with someone can bring about a profound shift in how we perceive the world around us.

Plant medicines is just a teacher. Life is a teacher.

Therefore having deeply meaningful thoughts and contemplation is part of the normal human experience.

What matters more is: “How were you changed as a person after the awareness of such thoughts?”

Did you become kinder?
Did you care more about yourself and others?
Did you start contribute to a more positive direction in yours and other people’s lives in a small way?

Ayahuasca was life changing for me. I became one face of a multi-faceted experience prism, my side being my particular life experience. My awareness expanded and my social anxiety and depression was entirely gone. Truly magical!

I had a similar experience 9 months ago drinking Ayahausca for the first time in Peru.
However, amongst the visions of past, present, and possible futures of humanity I also met a woman. I was told many things. You are a Seer. It is in her design. She has us strategically placed around the world. Humans are meant to communicate and work together like an ecosystem we all have different roles. She is trying to wake us up and apparently it's just the beginning. She was very excited.

It took me some time to integrate everything I experienced in the medicine. So far I haven't met anyone irl that has had a similar experience and I know how difficult it can be to hold. I was told I can only "See" to a certain level but there are others who can see much further.

You are on the path now and there is no going back. Bless you Brother. You are not alone 🖤
