Pulse
Port St. Willow Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I stay in my lane niggaz doing da most
Money fame dey lame look at dey post
Stunt for da gram no feeling no pulse
Barz ain’t up shorties leaving dem ghost
Wanna be thugs killers wit mean mugs
We past dat level we kings dey speak of
Gods in da flesh still life’s full a test
Passed those still I see da mess
Ribbon in da sky tangled wolves in disguise
False prophets lead sheep so many lies
Motherless child no tears in my eyes
Heaven in a mile see you da other side
Cut ties so many holding dey pride
Swallow apologizes cost nothing in life
You can live by da gun still die by da knife
Now cold inside like long winter nights

Check da pulse how many ride with me
So many fake switched sides homie
Once I rise all eyes on me
Better feared then loved Machiavelli
G codes or any means necessary
You decide I live decisions made
Street certified dues already paid
Testify grown man behavior
Can’t survive waiting somebody to save ya
We da best make moves dats major
Laid back loving wit my Queen dats flavor
Dey want to know what my name all about
Must be wizardry how I move in and out
Powerful words spit magic out my mouth

Tear a beat down Madmartigan can vouch
Relax already know what we's about

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Port St. Willow's song "Pulse" delve into themes of staying true to oneself, the fakeness of money and fame, the struggles of life, and the importance of making independent decisions.

In the first paragraph, the artist reflects on the superficiality of contemporary society, particularly in regards to the pursuit of money and fame. The line "Money fame dey lame look at dey post" suggests that the constant display of wealth and success on social media is empty and lacks substance. The reference to "stuntin' for the gram" highlights the obsession with appearances and the lack of genuine connection or feeling ("no pulse"). The lyrics also touch on the ineffectiveness of trying to impress others with material possessions or false personas, with the line "Barz ain't up shorties leaving dem ghost" indicating that individuals who lack authenticity are quickly abandoned by others.

The second paragraph explores the contrast between those who present themselves as tough or dangerous ("wanna be thugs killers wit mean mugs") and those who have actually surpassed this level of existence ("We past dat level we kings dey speak of"). The artist suggests that these self-proclaimed "kings," who are possibly more spiritually evolved or enlightened, are faced with ongoing tests and challenges in life ("Gods in da flesh still life's full a test"). Despite these trials, the artist notes the presence of chaos and dysfunction ("still I see da mess") and the struggle to find order and clarity ("Ribbon in da sky tangled wolves in disguise").

The third paragraph speaks to the artist's own resilience and ability to navigate the complexities of life. There is a sense of detachment and emotional distance, symbolized by the mention of a "motherless child, no tears in my eyes." The artist suggests the possibility of finding peace or salvation in a higher realm ("Heaven in a mile see you da other side") and emphasizes the importance of letting go of pride and ego in order to move forward in life ("Cut ties so many holding dey pride"). The line "Swallow apologizes cost nothing in life" suggests a willingness to accept mistakes and seek forgiveness, recognizing their insignificance in the grand scheme of things.

The final paragraph focuses on the artist's self-assurance and unique approach to life. The artist emphasizes the need to surround oneself with genuine supporters ("Check da pulse how many ride with me") while acknowledging that some people may be disloyal or fake ("So many fake switched sides homie"). The mention of Machiavelli and the reference to being feared but respected highlight the artist's desire to be seen as powerful and influential. The lyrics also touch on the importance of making independent choices and taking responsibility for one's own actions ("You decide I live decisions made"). The artist expresses confidence in their own abilities and craft, noting the impact of their words and the ability to captivate others ("Powerful words spit magic out my mouth"). The declaration "Relax already know what we's about" signifies a sense of self-assuredness and certainty in their artistic vision.

1st you need to open unit and push up the 3x clips the battery touches. If you ever insert the battery wrong way it will push the unit metal clips down and they will not make contact with battery 🔋 put a screw driver behind those clips and give them a clean with sand paper or something (clean battery points on battery too.) If that dont work go to 2nd step below.

2nd One or more of your batteries is too flat and needs replacing, as when battery goes below 2.6V its usually done, especially if left in that run down state for few weeks - sometimes days, depending on how old battery is. Take battery pack out and try to charge it individually with a charger, as most battery chargers/balancers do not charge when below a certain threshold.

If you have to replace a single or two batteries then you will need a spot welder - otherwise use metal clips or foil paper between battery and case, and then glue it so it dont move.

@DropShockTroopr03

My massage gun has had this error for a year. I just took it out of the closet to try it again. You're advice worked. I used a screwdriver to push out the metal receptors and it's working again. Thanks so much!

@Youwillpaywhatyouowe

Or return it to the store

@davehouser1

Your #2 is not very clear. If you open up the battery housing there is a heat taped battery pack. Are you suggesting cutting that open and charging each of the batteries. Can you be more clear how? What type of batteries are in there? What type of charger would I need for such a task?

@pascualaguon5324

Yep pull the battery out and kinda make those connections come out a little and it fixed massage gun as well.. was showing some kinda code and wouldn't charge but this technique worked!!

1) you need to open unit and push up the 3x clips the battery touches (as you said). If you ever insert the battery wrong way it will push the unit metal clips down and they will not make contact with battery 🔋 put a screw driver behind those clips to lift them up slightly and give them a clean with sand paper or something (clean battery points on battery too.) If that dont work go to 2nd step below.

2) One or more of your batteries is too flat and needs replacing, if battery goes below 2.6V its usually dead, especially if left in that run down state for few weeks - sometimes days, depending on how old battery is. Take battery pack out and try to charge it individually with a charger, as most battery chargers/balancers do not charge when below a certain threshold.

@williamwiese9963

If it's lighting up you'll have batt connection

@moiaredenutatao8385

I have the same issue how do you resolve it?

@edwardliatys8149

You have to pull out the battery pack. It's a little hard to pull out but keep trying it comes straight out. You have a total of 3 contact terminals you have to get a pair of needle-nose pliers and spread them out a little. Clean them off and then put your battery pack back in and it should be good to go. It fix mine 100%

@muhammadasad266
