Ik hou van jou
Preuteleute Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Aj neeee, ik ben zo verdrietig man
Stoppen man ...
HOU OP, boehoe
The lyrics of Preuteleute's song "Ik hou van jou" depict a couple lying on the beach with their feet intertwined and observing rainbows in each other's eyes. Despite not knowing what they are doing while walking down the street, the singer is reassured that his partner will be back in 15 minutes, and he will care for her like a calf. The chorus emphasizes the strong feelings of love for his partner, declaring his affection for her.
The song appears to illustrate a simple yet poignant moment between two individuals in love. The imagery of the beach and rainbows portray a peaceful and joyful setting, while the conversation between the couple during their walk highlights the beauty of a relationship with trust and care for one another. The song's repetition of the phrase "maar ik hou van jou" emphasizes the singer's commitment to his partner.
Overall, the song seems to be a tribute to the beauty and simplicity of romantic love, capturing a moment of pure affection between two people.
