As someone who doesn’t even know how to read the Bible (using OT and NT scriptures). You do ask a lot of questions about someone’s faith. God knows me. Judge as you will, it doesn’t matter.

As someone who refuses to read the Old Testament and prophets you’re only getting a part of the story. Bro, please open your eyes. Isaiah was ordained by God to be a prophet. His word is more sure than any pastor alive today and his word is of no private interpretation. The scripture about using both testaments or not having light in you is not a lie.

Jesus Christ never said his law was done away with (this was the 3rd time you lied on my God within 24 hours). As shared with Matthew 5. You only twist Paul’s epistles to your own destruction like Peter warned us in 2 Peter 3.

You now want to claim that I practice Judaism, which is only partly true. We don’t sacrifice animals because Jesus Christ was our unblemished lamb that died for our sins 1 time. Once baptized our blood is in our hands. There is no more sacrifice. It’s why the book says he died for our sins of old.

But the commandments, dietary law, and feast days are still very much intact. Here’s a future scripture from a prophet to prove that.

Zechariah 14:1-2 & 16
14 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

Everyone that’s left will keep the feast of tabernacles. You can look up this feast in Leviticus 23. It abides by the dietary law and commands us to observe the Sabbath(s)

This is in Jesus Christ 1000 year reign.

This will be my last message to you because the dialogue has ran its course. At least the Gentiles try to dive into the Old Testament to prove what they say. You refuse to even look at it (the book says Israel is a stiff-necked people).

Malachi 3:6

Can you confidently say that you’ll make it? Honestly I cannot. However I hope that I am so blessed to enter into Gods kingdom.

I remember when my mom used to talk about the Lord’s return I would get so upset because I knew I was walking in sin and I didn’t want to face the fact that I was living contrary to the will of God. Now I talk about the Lord’s return even more than my mom does probably, because I am so excited about it, and primarily because I am no longer trying to live against the will of God so my having to face my disobedience to God is no longer an issue. It doesn’t mean I’m infallible, I just seek to do the will of my Father in Heaven now, rather than the will of the flesh. Excellent sermon Dr. Evans!

Threescore is 60 years + ten equals 70 years, thus 70 to 80 years after the return of Israel... Thus the way I see it, we are now in the 71st year and this May 2020 will have been 72 years since May 1948 of this final generation.

@Tothetop ironically, we were in Zechariah this morning in Sunday School. I don't at all ignore the OT. As a matter of fact, I enjoy reading the OT. I believe in all the prophecies that have occurred, and are yet to come. I just happen to also embrace ALL of the Word & every prophet & apostle. God has a plan for Israel & for the Gentiles. It's all in the book. Romans 11 is pretty clear.

So basically you sound like you practice Judaism. That's your prerogative. I'd just make sure that you know Jesus as your personal saviour or you'll be contending with not receiving the mark of the beast. Folk who claim to be born again & have the Holy Spirit, should have common ground. I'm afraid that the foundation of what you and many other "HI" believe is built on a misinterpretation of Deuteronomy 28. It's pure speculation. You have no genealogical proof and I'd sat your geography is off as well. Nigeria isn't on the west coast of Africa, where African slaves were primarily imported from.

God is a spirit & they that worship him, must worship him in spirit and in truth. It's much more about relationship, than religion and or ritual. Remember, this discussion started with me just complimenting a well respected Pastor & Bible teacher.🤔 God did send the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit appoints Pastors according to the Bible.

I love the power through the word that comes through you as well as many I've been around with & just to be brief yes I'm a changed man and it wasn't until something that was said about one of the parables through my friends that triggered my spiritual side which opened my spiritual ears and that's only been three years since I've been scripture studying like crazy and seeing things through a whole different perspective I've been miss percepted my whole life but I know that something was there and it wasn't until three years ago that I found it and now I'm doing things that isn't popular in our days! these are the end of times thanks Tony Evans you are a man of God not a man of man.

I think maybe that was God blindsided us for them periods of time, when we were being taught wrongfully all the years that we've been in ⛪ for; because I thought the same way, but then a light click on your head(which is God being that light)finally shows you truth, and had you wanting more.
