Some examples of their best known songs are "Brain Collapses", "Unveiling the Secret, "Eternal", "Misery", "Tears", "Sanctuary", "Gods and Monsters", "15 Minutes", and a remake of "Goodbye Horses", the cult Q Lazzarus song made famous by its use in the psychological thriller film 'The Silence of the Lambs'. Other popular covers include versions of "Sex Dwarf" (by Soft Cell') and "Disorder" (by Joy Division).
As of the last 30 years since their debut in the early 80s, Psyche continue to record and perform their unique blend of dark electronic music throughout Europe as well as many territories around the world.

*Note:
In the early 90s, the name Psyche was also used as an alias of Detroit techno artist Carl Craig. Under this early pseudonym the legendary Detroit based techno producer released a few 12"s on Transmat - later compiled onto 'Elements', alongside other material written under his BFC alias, and released on Craig's own Planet E label.
Also, a short lived west coast Scottish new wave/rock band called Psyche released a 7" single in 1982.

But, it always falls
I see you come, I see you go
You say, "All things pass into the night"
And I say, "Oh no sir I must say you're wrong
I must disagree, oh no sir, I must say you're wrong"
Won't you listen to me
Been there, I've seen my hopes and dreams
A lying on the ground
I've seen the sky just begin to fall
And you say, "All things pass into the night"
And I say, "Oh no sir, I must say you're wrong
I must disagree, oh no sir, I must say you're wrong"
Won't you listen to me
Goodbye horses I'm flying over you
Goodbye horses I'm flying over you
The lyrics to Psyche's song "Goodbye Horses" speak of a disagreement between two people about the nature of life and its changes. The singer hears the other person suggest that all things pass into the night, suggesting that everything is temporary and that there is no permanence in life. The singer, however, disagrees and says that this is not true, that some things last and endure. They argue that even when they see the sky falling, they will not accept that everything passes into the night.
The lyrics then shift to "Goodbye horses, I'm flying over you," which has a more ambiguous interpretation. It could be interpreted as a metaphor for getting over something or finally moving on. It could also be interpreted as a euphemism for death or suicide, which is how the lyrics were famously used in the movie "Silence of the Lambs."
Overall, the lyrics suggest a conversation between two people who have different interpretations of the world and a possible dark meaning in the ending.

You told me, I see you rise
You assured me that you would succeed
But, it always falls
But every time, it ends in disappointment and failure
I see you come, I see you go
I've witnessed you come and go from my life
You say, 'All things pass into the night'
You claim that everything is temporary and fleeting
And I say, 'Oh no sir I must say you're wrong
But I strongly disagree with you on this matter
I must disagree, oh no sir, I must say you're wrong'
I cannot accept your viewpoint
Won't you listen to me
Can't you please pay attention to what I'm saying
You told me, I've seen it all before
You told me that you've experienced similar situations in the past
Been there, I've seen my hopes and dreams
I too have been in the same position and lost my ambitions
A lying on the ground
Lying defeated and helpless on the floor
I've seen the sky just begin to fall
I've witnessed situations go from bad to worse
And you say, 'All things pass into the night'
You repeat your view that nothing lasts forever
And I say, 'Oh no sir, I must say you're wrong
Once again, I must express my disagreement with you
I must disagree, oh no sir, I must say you're wrong'
I cannot accept your viewpoint
Won't you listen to me
Can't you please pay attention to what I'm saying
Goodbye horses I'm flying over you
Farewell to everything I have lost and left behind
Goodbye horses I'm flying over you
Moving on from the past and leaving it all behind
