@Cyberbrickmaster1986 Here are the steps I did to get it working, I am using Windows 10, Alcohol120% Free Edition and Daemon Tools Lite.
1. I put the retail CD (RC Racers Deluxe Traxxas Edition) into an external DVD-drive, since I have no internal drive.
2. I loaded Alcohol 120% and clicked on Image Making Wizard, where I selected DVD-drive. Within the disc information tab the info reads RCDELUXE and has 653.3MB used disc space, alongside an info sheet with 17 entries (1+1 to 16) with varying filesizes, which have to be the actual music files stored on the CD.
3. I switched the tab over to Reading Options. There I left the name untouched and set the saving location to my desktop. The image format is MDS. Then I enabled the following: Skip Reading Errors, Read Sub-Channel Data from current disc and Data Position Measurement. I left the Datatype on "Customize" and pressed "Start" to begin the copying process.
4. The wizard asks me to set the DPM speed. I set to 4X and began copying. After it got finished, it resulted in two files: RCDELUXE.mdf and RCDELUXE.mds. The MDF file is 653MB big and the MDS is only 25KB.
5. I disconnected my DVD-drive and installed Daemon Tools Lite. I restarted my computer afterwards to make sure the drivers 'got settled in' before doing anything.
6. After opening Daemon Tools Lite, I clicked on "Drives" -> "Add Drive". I left the options untouched, my virtual drive is set as "D:\". I clicked on the D:\ drive within Daemon Tools and loaded the RCDELUXE.mdf image file. Windows asks me what to do with the disc, I just loaded autorun.exe from the virtual drive and pressed "Play" on the splash screen.
The only causes that I know having no music playing is using a cracked exe that doesn't ask for the CD upon startup, having the CD audio volume on 0 in your sound settings or using a burned disc. Otherwise I have no idea what causes the music not to play.

I hated those dwarfs xD And I loved the game back when I was a kid, so much fun! Laptime best on every track, maxed out power etc in the championship ... Buggy ftw! I still remember battling Ace, Herb and all the other top tier Bot Racers :D

Oh man, the memories. I remember when I was a kid, I found a shitload of glitches in the game that made it so much more enjoyably challenging. I remember on this track, you could trap the cars on that bench with the pots on it, and they couldn't move anywhere. I would stack all the racers on that bench. So fun.
