The first verse of "Gihad" by Raekwon (feat. Ghostface Killah) recounts the gritty and violent realities of selling drugs in New York City during the 1990s. The line "since rap got locked right before we visit the 90's" refers to the so-called "Golden Age" of hip hop in the late 1980s, which ended when many prominent rappers were arrested on drug-related charges. Raekwon and Ghostface Killah then proceed to describe their criminal enterprise, from cooking drugs in the kitchen to buying a house next to Bill Clinton's mother because she has connections with Chinese drug suppliers.
