Raekwon Lyrics

If I ain't rockin' emeralds and Bentleys,
I'm coolin' in Poughkeepsie,
Me, shorty, new Glock 40, and some bent weed
Ridin' in Mary boo, take care of me, sincerely
I'm Israeli, machetes is cris, Swiss and Bailey's
Snuggled up, mink on, call it a cover up
Just like two murders in the hood, I'mma double up
The rap surgeon fix the game up, crack merchant
Everything I sell is well, my shit is that worthy
Gats that come up out the ceiling with the beam on it
Chinese Queen, Parasuco jeans on her
Rock long jeans, known for throwing blings on her
I stay king, by any means, scream on it nigga

Come on, let's go nigga
Word up, close the door to the Aston nigga
Get out the, yo, take that shit out the ash tray man

Do you remember a real gang member?
Choppin' til he timber, December to December
Never stoppin', too busy poppin' off lead in the heat, holla
Clownin' ass all around him, they crown him the Dogg Father
Glock hot, crock pot on the block with a chef
Out of bounds on the grounds with a hole in your chest
Invest in back in feedback, gorilla the west
Take a whiff of me, spliff, till it fill up my chest
Convertible with the Cadillac, mackin' the mack
With some Roscoe's Chicken in my lap, imagine that
I'm groovin' down Sunset Boulevard
No harm, no foul, no body guard

Yo, stop right there man
You don't know what you're doin' man
Chill, chill, let them handle that man for real

Chill yo, the movie is scary
Take off the sheep skin shotty
Nigga make a move, and don't dare me
I'm blessed with these million dollar hands, I'm like poker
Niggas screw they motherfuckin' face, so what?
Guns eclectic, flips perfected
Boats flying in, every brick's inspected
The clique's connected, everybody wrist and neck lit
Two shots of Cisco, let's slip
Post like Scarface and Sosa with my mimosa
All that most
See my villains most of them roastin'
Freshmen chickens get close in 'em
Make one move, she buyin' me the Ghost in it

Pass the dutchie
You know what it do man
We in Wonderland huh

Stealth but get loud like a space shuttle
Catch a case, motherfuckers got a place for you
And it's 100 brothers like you that's cold with the typhoo
Slang and thangs and buck 50 with the Guess suit
Draw that line, flip that dime, spit that nine
Homie this Crip on mine
Thought you knew
We cold crushin' bum rush the chef, it's my nephew
The king of the west, two niggas to test you
Let your next move be your best move
Jah bless you

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Raekwon featuring Big Bub's song All I Got Is You Pt. II paints a picture of a young boy growing up in a single-parent household. The boy's father eventually leaves, causing his mother to struggle as a single parent on welfare. Despite the challenges, the mother remains a consistent presence in the boy's life, teaching him valuable lessons and guiding him through difficult times. The boy looks up to his mother, recognizing the sacrifices she has made for him and his siblings, and expresses his loyalty and admiration for her.

In the second verse, the boy reveals some of the struggles he has faced, including a lack of money, the death of his grandfather, and the incarceration of his uncle. He seeks comfort from his mother, who continues to provide guidance and support. The song concludes with a sentimental moment between the mother and son, as the son starts to cry and the mother sings softly.

Overall, the song is a poignant reflection on the importance of family and the struggles faced by those growing up in impoverished communities. It speaks to the resilience and strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity, as well as the enduring bonds between parents and children.

It's good but not in the top 20.
Above the clouds,
Full clip,
Liquid Swords,
Bang your head (underdog remix),
1-800 suicide,
Furious anger,
Can it be all so simple,
How will I make it,
The worst,
For what it was,
The projects PJays,
Over here,
Les coulisses de l'angoisse,
Mon clan,
Entrer dans la légende,
Cherche pas à comprendre,
Shit squad (live au dome de marseille 2003),
La cavale,
Les petites annonces du carnages,
Le cuir d'une valise usée,
24 heures à vivre

See? not in the top 20 :)

I love Dudes flow for sure. You know this dude was str8 Pimp before.
His flow on that Ghostface track is still to this very day the best bar dropped imo..
Every verse dude had in those early Wu solo albums was epic.
~Haven't listened to his solo album in detail yet. My 1st listen i wasnt impressed but im gonna go at it again 4sure.
I think The Rza changed when he finally dropped U-god,,inspectahDecks & Capps albums..
I was also not impressed with Inspectah Decks 1st album. I thought for sure id be blown away by it but i wasn't.
I refuse to accpet defeat and gonna relisten..
And i cant even find U-gods 1st album..
If you got a link to the torrent then hit me up.
