Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

God is good isn't he
I don't know about you but
We're here to have a good time in the Lord
We'd like to stop and sing you song
We hope that you will enjoy

My feet, my leg
(Belongs to God)
My feet, my leg
(Oh, belongs to God)
My feet, my leg
(Belongs to God)
My whole body
(My whole body belongs to God)

My knee, my thighs
(Belongs to God)
My knee and my thighs, yeah
(Oh belongs to God)
My knee and my thighs
(Belongs to God)
(My whole body belongs to God)

Listen, my thighs, my back
(Belongs to God)
My thighs and my back
(Oh belongs to God)
My thighs, my back
(Belongs to God)
My whole body
(My whole body belongs to God)

My whole body
(My whole body belongs to the Lord)
My feet belongs to the Lord
My neck ya, surely belongs to the Lord

My head!
(My whole body belongs to God)

I love thos whole album especially this song, I already love old school gospel music. This is just amazing. I havent heard a gospel song on an R&B record since the early 00s I miss when singers did that. Mariah Carey was the last one I knew with "fly like a bird" to have gospel/inspirational song on her CD.
