Never Enough
Rebecca Lavelle Lyrics

I can't breath
It's too hard to think of love
I can't breath, I can't breath
Can't let my words betray
I won't talk, I won't talk
Words will never be the way
Many fears, many dreams
Many roads out there
Hide the pain behind the smile
Behind the tears
You burn like fire
Burn like ice
Your heart tears, your heart tears
You be strong and hold it in
But your heart still cares
Many fears and many dreams
Many roads out there
Hide the pain behind the smile
Till there are no more tears
Many fears and many dreams
Many roads out there
Hide the pain behind the smile
Till there are no more tears
There was never time enough
I can't breath
It's too hard to think of love
I can't breath, I can't breath
Many fears and many dreams
Many roads out there
Hide the pain behind the smile
Till there are no more tears
Many fears and many dreams
Many roads out there
Hide the pain behind the smile
Till there are no more tears
There was never time enough......
The lyrics to Rebecca Lavelle's song Never Enough depict the overwhelming feeling of not having enough time and struggling to cope with the challenges of love and life. The repetition of the line "there was never time enough" throughout the song emphasizes this feeling of being short on time and struggling to keep up. The lyrics also touch on the idea of hiding pain behind a smile and tears, and the struggle to be strong and hold things in, even when the heart still cares.
The line "you burn like fire, burn like ice, your heart tears" seems to describe the conflicting emotions and intensity of a relationship, with the love and passion being just as strong as the pain and heartache. The chorus repeats the themes of fear, dreams, and roads out there, suggesting a sense of uncertainty and the need to navigate life's paths. Overall, the song seems to convey a sense of longing for more time and the struggle to balance the complexities of love and life.
