Red Cell Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
everything must die inside you - reveal your soul
Where my nightmares end
there´s a smile I create
Holding truth to be judged
the hand - the sin
All the voices I hear
Holding persons inside
the black - the red
Everything must be inside you - not everything can be controlled
everything must die inside you - before you leave, reveal your soul
Where my shield starts to fall
only fear lights my way
Try to cover the stains
install - awake
Loving hate and excuse
including me, too abused
Searching strength and release
come share - my end
Everything must be inside you - not everything can be controlled
everything must die inside you - before you leave, reveal your soul
The lyrics of Red Cell's song Naked talks about the importance of self-reflection and the process of revealing one's own true self. The first verse emphasizes the need to have control over one's emotions and thoughts as the only way to gain power over oneself. It suggests that one must let go of 'everything' within oneself to reveal one's true self. The second verse depicts the internal struggle between fear and hope where the singer creates a smile to mask his fear. He then confronts his inner demons and attempts to erase negative thoughts and words to find inner peace. The last verse reveals the singer's difficulty in accepting both his 'loving hate and excuse' and his own victimization. It highlights the importance of finding strength within oneself and sharing the journey of self-discovery with others.
