Taoists also breathe in through the skin that way, but they breathe it all the way into the bone marrow. just like this only visualize it going into your bone marrow. this is good too, though, cause it's less formal and fast. thanks.

This would be perfectly complimented by a Taoist practice called, "Bone Marrow Nei Kung" as taught by Mantak Chia. The only difference is on the outbreath you "pack" the chi into the bone marrow. There's more to it than that but I don't see why the Mahamudra and bone marrow nei kung couldn't perfectly fit together.
