He was only 13, but he spent his life in the streets
Despite his young age, Kobe had been exposed to the harsh realities of street life.

His mamma was a crack feet, daddy never had dreams
Kobe's mother was a drug addict and his father lacked ambition and direction in life.

Plus he's lying six feet deep
Kobe has passed away and is now buried six feet underground.

And now Kobe has a baby, by a young lady who gets rapes constantly
Kobe had a child with a young woman who had been a victim of rape multiple times.

But he said we gon' make it I know I'm in a struggle
Despite the difficult circumstances, Kobe remained optimistic and determined to overcome the challenges.

But God has a plan for me
Kobe had faith that there was a greater purpose for his life, even in the midst of struggles.

Her love was six feet deep
The young woman who had a child with Kobe was deeply in love but filled with grief since Kobe had passed away.

And tears dropped from her face onto his dirt heap
She mourned for Kobe and her tears fell onto the ground where Kobe was buried.

She stands shivering holding his baby
Despite her own struggles, the young woman took responsibility for raising Kobe's child.

Holding in her rage and dealing with this rapings
The woman had experienced sexual assault but had to suppress her anger in order to take care of the baby.

Trying to turn him to a man
The woman tried to raise the child into a responsible and respectable man, despite the challenges they faced.

But her inside are sore like her insides are tore
The trauma she had experienced left her feeling emotionally wounded and scarred.

So she can barely stand
The emotional pain was so severe that it affected her physical well-being as well.

So she stays on her knees letting her soul bleed
She turned to prayer as a source of comfort and strength, allowing herself to be vulnerable and express her pain.

Lettin' her spirit lead, repeating God has his hands on me
She relied on her faith to guide her through the struggles and repeated affirmations of God's protection and guidance.

Everyday somebody struggle to some that's inevitable
Struggling is a common experience shared by many.

And if you make success out of tha hood, that's incredible
Achieving success despite growing up in challenging environments is a remarkable accomplishment.

We don't have to struggle no more, it's a brighter day
Despite past struggles, there is a sense of hope and optimism for a brighter future ahead.

No more rage, chasing and fight away mehn less so
There is a hope for less conflict and struggle in the future.

Like an eagle in the middle of the sky, am confused in the air
Feeling lost and uncertain, as if soaring aimlessly like an eagle in the sky.

Like a riddle in the sky, crazy needs a ribboning for eye
The confusion is like a riddle that needs to be solved, but is difficult to understand.

Still trynna find that Stevie Wonder seen the ribbon in the sky
Searching for clarity and direction, just as Stevie Wonder saw a symbol of hope and beauty in the ribbon in the sky.

Encouragement to persevere through struggles.

To all of my sisters gotta be strong
Encouragement to have strength and resilience in the face of challenges.
