Just watched all 6 seasons of the Bravermans in 4 days, half for the wonderful stories and the other half for the WONDERFUL music! I was introduced to so many talented artists I’d never heard of !!

I kept just missing Parenthood when it was on TV, so finally gave up. Unbelievably, I caught the very last episode, totally by chance. So I watched it as there was nothing else on the telly. I had tears rolling down my face when it came to this rendition of Forever Young, and the final parting of the family. It had grabbed my heart somehow so I went out and bought the entire 6 seasons on DVD right away. I binge watched my way through them and I have to say, I absolutely LOVE Parenthood. It appeals to a slightly older demographic and about bloody time too. I so wish they had kept the story going. The music, the actors, the story, I could relate to on so many levels. But the networks will continue to always cater to the younger demographic, or try dumbing us down with rubbish. So until another quality show like Parenthood comes on, I will go back to reading my books.

I know what you mean.I love parenthood, i bought season 1-6 on digital format. I just love binge watching the show and im glad they all had a happy ending. I wouldn't want it back on air because they probably would of dragged another character marriage unnecessarily through hell and back. Like you im reading to fill void from good family show.

Canuck Wench I know this post is from a year ago but I also loved parenthood myself, cried when it ended. however, NBC did come up with a new show since then, it's called This Is Us. it is an absolutely amazing show and while it doesn't fill the void of parenthood, it makes me cry every week and is totally relatable just like parenthood was. You should check it out :)
