I'm worried that if I take a risk, it will end up hurting the relationship I have with this person.

My fear entwined with my regret
I'm afraid of what might happen if I act, but I'm also afraid of what will happen if I don't.

A beated path of safe return
I've taken the easy way out before and I'm tempted to do it again, but maybe it's time for a change.

There's a thing called love
Love is something that exists and is important, even though we sometimes forget about it.

That we all forget
We get wrapped up in our own lives and our own problems, and we forget to think about the people around us and what they need.

And it's a wasted love
If we don't pay attention to love and invest time and energy into it, we'll end up regretting it later on.

You live your life just once
Life is short and we only get one chance to make the most of it. We shouldn't waste it on things that don't matter.

So don't forget about a thing called love
We need to be intentional about love and make sure that we don't let it slip away.

So here we are, we're just the same
Despite everything that's happened, we're still in the same place as before.

And you will never know
You can't read my mind and you'll never know how I really feel unless I tell you.

My secret plan, how close we came
I had a plan to try to express my feelings, but it never quite came to fruition.

To share another road
I wish we could have gone down a different path together, but it's too late now.

And have I lost my only chance
I'm worried that there won't be another opportunity for me to say what I really feel.

To tell you how I feel inside
I need to share my emotions and let you know what's really going on with me.

Is it just me, I'd like to know?
I'm not sure if I'm the only one feeling this way or if others are in the same boat.

Or are we all just a little blind?
Maybe everyone is missing out on something important and we need to wake up to it.
