Pour It Up )
Rihanna Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Throw it up, throw it up (throw up)
Watch it all fall out (fall out)
Pour it up, pour it up (pour up)
That's how we ball out (ball out)
Throw it up, throw it up (throw up)
Watch it all fall out (fall out)
Pour it up, pour it up (pour up)
That's how we ball out

Strip club and dollar bills
I still got more money
Patron shots, can I get a refill?
I still got more money
Strippers goin' up and down that pole
And I still got more money
Four o'clock and we ain't going home
'Cause I still got more money
Money make the world go 'round
I still got more money
Bands make your girl go down
And I still got more money
Lot more where that came from
I still got more money
The look in your eyes, I know you want some
I still got more money

Oh
All I see is signs
All I see is dollar signs
Oh

Money on my mind
Money, money on my mind
Throw it, throw it up
Watch it fall off from the sky

Throw it up, throw it up
Watch it all fall out
Pour it up, pour it up
That's how we ball out
Throw it up, throw it up
Watch it all fall out
Pour it up, pour it up
That's how we ball out
That's how we ball out
That's how we ball out
That's how we ball out

Valet cost a hundred bills
I still got more money
Gold all up in my grill
I still got more money
Who cares how you haters feel
And I still got more money
Call Jay up and close the deal
'Cause I still got more money
My fragrance on and they love my smell
I still got more money
So who cares about what I spend
I still got more money
My pocket's deep, and they never end
I still got more money
I'm going dumb with all my friends
I still got more money

Oh
All I see is signs
All I see is dollar signs
Oh

Money on my mind
Money, money on my mind
Throw it, throw it up
Watch it fall off from the sky

Throw it up, throw it up
Watch it all fall out
Pour it up, pour it up
That's how we ball out
Throw it up, throw it up
Watch it all fall out
Pour it up, pour it up
That's how we ball out
That's how we ball out

That's how we ball out
That's how we ball out

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Rihanna's song "Pour It Up" is an anthem of sorts that celebrates the power of money and its ability to provide a lavish lifestyle. In the first verse, Rihanna talks about the atmosphere in a strip club where she is enjoying the company of strippers who are performing for her. She talks about how she can buy expensive drinks like Patron and refill them without worrying about the cost because she has enough money. The chorus emphasizes the theme of luxury and how money can be thrown around for pleasure. Rihanna repeats the line "Throw it, throw it up" several times, indicating a sense of carefreeness that can be felt when money is not an issue.

In the second verse, Rihanna talks about her deep pockets and her ability to spend her money as she pleases. The lyrics show that she does not care about what others think of her lavish lifestyle and is solely focused on enjoying herself with her friends. The pre-chorus emphasizes how much money is on Rihanna's mind; she only sees signs and dollar signs. The bridge of the song emphasizes the theme of throwing money around, with the lines "Throw it up, throw it up, watch it fall off from the sky." She's works with the devil?
Why?
A monk from Mount Athos, a Holy father told me that she, Rihanna, Gaga, M.J Katy Perry did that. Many did that..for fame, money, etc
Just think about it, if in the orthodox bible Jesus said that the majority powerfull ppl of this world are there because they will sell their soul to the devil for fame, money, then this is a fact, a real one.
Also look about this, only at the Orthodox religion wich is Christianity, the Holy Light comes from the sky at Jerusalem in the Easter night, this is the evidence of God, of Jesus that He is real and not a story.
That light, light up the candles of the orthodox priest, and there are other religions but they wait in vain, at them nothing comes.
Lets not talk about the saints bodies who died that emanate mirh smell, and make miracles if you are a good person, etc
Also that light for some big minutes you can put it on your face, clothes, hair, nothing happens, it doesent burn at all.
So in conclusion, she works with the devil, and her "power of performance" etc, comes from there too.
There in hell she will see the true power of God and the devil laughing at her, and the punishement of a sinfull life. Ejhe
