In 1984, Plant formed a short-lived all-star retro rock group with musicians Jimmy Page (also of Led Zeppelin), Jeff Beck, and Phil Collins called The Honeydrippers. The band had a Top Ten hit with their song "Sea of Love", a remake of the Phil Phillips' chestnut. Plant's also notably performed with Page in the outfit Page & Plant.
Plant's love of the music of Morocco led him to a new collaboration called Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation. The band's releases met with critical acclaim and numerous Grammy nominations. They completed a notable 2006 tour of Europe in September.
In 2007, Plant began recording and performing with American bluegrass star Alison Krauss. A duet album, Raising Sand, was released on 23 October 2007 on Rounder Records. The album, recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by T-Bone Burnett, met with enormous critical and commercial success. Tours have reached devoted audiences in multiple cities.
The year of 2010 proves to be yet another successful year for the lemon squeezer. During the summer, Plant will be reuniting with his old, Pre-Zep group, The Band Of Joy, for a tour of the southern and mid continental tour of the US.
In 2012 Robert Plant starts another band project going by the name Sensational Space Shifters releasing the live album Robert Plant Presents: Sensational Space Shifters. Along with Plant himself the band consists of Liam "Skin" Tyson, Justin Adams, Billy Fuller and John Baggot along with Dave Smith, Juldeh Camara and Patty Griffin.
A Stolen Kiss

Lost and found and lost yet again
Here in the heat of a stolen kiss
I make my home
How long has it been this way
On and on as the days slip away
Oh lost in language oh lost in song
I am drawn to the western shore
Where the light moves bright upon the tide
To the lullaby and the ceaseless roar
And the songs that never die
Love waits for no one, there's so little time
It's cruel and elusive and so hard to find
And moving further and further each day
I'm gone
I am drawn to the western shore
Where the light moves bright upon the tide
To the lullaby and the ceaseless roar
And the song that never dies
The lyrics of Robert Plant's song "A Stolen Kiss" convey the feeling of being lost and searching for something, perhaps love or purpose, while being drawn to the beauty of the western shore. The repeated phrase of "how long has it been" reflects a sense of time passing by and the feeling of being stuck in a state of limbo. The reference to a stolen kiss suggests a moment of passion or connection that may have been fleeting, but still holds a significant place in the singer's memory.
The key message of the song seems to be about the fleeting nature of love and life itself. The lyrics reflect a sense of urgency, with the singer acknowledging that love waits for no one and time is running out. Despite this, the beauty of the western shore and the songs that never die offer some sense of hope and solace. This is reflected in the final lines of the song, where the singer is drawn to the western shore and the ceaseless roar and is comforted by the idea that some things will never fade away.
Overall, "A Stolen Kiss" is a song that explores themes of love, loss, and the passage of time. The lyrics are open to interpretation but convey a sense of longing and searching for meaning in life.

I think this is one of his best solo songs ever. The emotion and magic of his voice is incredible, particularly when he sings: "Love waits for no one, there's so little time. It's cruel and elusive and so hard to find. And moving further and further each day
I'm gone." Beautiful. ✌❤
