In 2011, Sanchez participated in the fourth season of the television program X Factor, where he achieved third place. Despite his loss, he still received a record deal. In the same year his debut single Ave Maria was released, a Spanish-language cover by David Bisbal. In 2013 the singer left for the Dominican Republic to focus on Spanish songs. The song Por Si No Te Vuelvo a Ver reached the first place of Billboard's Tropical Songs charts in June 2015.
In 2019 Sanchez participated in the program Best Singers (Beste Zangers). Here he made the song Pa Olvidarte together with Emma Heesters, which became a hit in the Netherlands. Sanchez also played as Carlos in the film Verliefd op Cuba.
