As well as singing, his performances include storytelling in the tradition of the travelling minstrel or troubadour and playing a wide range of instruments including guitar, harmonica, trombone and his own invention the 'stomping box'.
He has travelled widely performing and has released the following albums:
• Swings and Roundabouts (2010)
• Songs for Big Little People (2007)
• Brave Faces (2005)
• Mouth to Mouth (2000)
• Lullabies for Big Babies (1997)
• Travelling Home (1992)
• Footsteps and Heartbeats (1989)
• Kicking The Sawdust (1986)
• Angry Love (1985)
Rory's songs are invariably big-hearted story-like ballads about family, justice, racism, poverty, immigration, traveling and love. His live shows are particularly impressive - it's hard to believe he performs with such a full and busy sound when there's only him on the stage.

My thanks to @road of snooker finals for suggesting this episode.

As a friend of Andy's, I've known from the start of this tournament, he was playing well, just knocking around in practice he was clearing up frame after frame. 7 straight centuries, the other day, much like he played when he reached the semi's in the Worlds. He's won all four matches in a deciding frame to get into the last 8! He's playing well, and if he can just keep positive, and play smart, he'll give Barry a good game.

By the way love how u explain everything with the animation on the side Cesar ❤️

IMO one of the most unprofessional displays of snooker I have seen, Perfectly edited and presented as usual though Cesar.

Gilbert was in a mood from the start, never seen anyone foul the ball on a shot as much.

Nerves I’d say…it can happen at the start of session…

He went through a spell where he was prone to this not just in this match. He must have worked on it as I haven’t seen him do it this season and he’s got off to a great start

I find Gilbert difficult to fathom

I hope Rory later apologized for the words “i expected more form you David”. Rory was completely wrong. Very thrilling game though. I remember it live.

I agree, he was wrong about the free ball, but I think McLeod said those words because he asked Gilbert to come over and look from his angle multiple times, but he ignored him. IMO, it does not appear that McLeod attempted to intimidate the referee or implied that Gilbert was a cheater, as stated by Gilbert after the match.
