Humans
Roxy Saint Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Robots never get raped
At night I hope they go away
I can't believe what they say
Everyone is the end
No one is real
There's no humans left in this world
There's no humans left in this world anymore
There's no humans left in this world
Robots never get raped
Can't believe what they say
They believe me anyway
Who will ever take our place?
No one is real real
Take me to the movies ok
There's no humans left in this world
There's no humans left in this world anymore
There's no humans left in this world
There's no humans left in this world anymore
This is what I told you Hey Hey Hey
Yeah I tried to warn you Hey Hey Hey
This is what I told you Hey Hey Hey
Yeah I tried to warn you Hey Hey Hey
Robots never get raped
Who's the star? Kiss her face
I am really feeling great
Everybody just take take take
Take me to the movies OK
Yeah I'll stand around and play the part
I feel like I am going down
I don't know, Robots in my eyes
Look what I have found
There's no humans left in this world
There's no humans left in this world anymore
There's no humans left in this world
There's no humans left in this world anymore
There's no humans left in this world
There's no humans left in this world anymore
There's no humans left in this world
There's no humans left in this world anymore
Robots never get raped
Robots never get raped
The lyrics of "Humans" by Roxy Saint depict a dystopian world devoid of human presence. The repetition of "Robots never get raped" implies that machines have replaced humans in this reality, suggesting that the future has been outsourced to technology. The line "I can't believe what they say" could signify the scepticism of the singer regarding the truth of the situation, perhaps indicating that the machines have altered the narrative to present themselves as the only option. The line "No one is real" highlights a sense of disillusionment and despair, as if the singer is struggling to come to terms with the fact that humanity as they knew it has vanished.
The lyric "take me to the movies ok" could be interpreted as a reference to the idea of escapism or trying to escape reality by watching a movie, albeit in a world where humans are no longer present. This reinforces the sense of desperation and hopelessness, as the singer is still looking for a way out even though nothing can provide comfort anymore. The repeated chorus "There's no humans left in this world" emphasizes the central theme of the song, showcasing the eerie blankness and loneliness of this mechanized society.
Overall, the song seems to be a critique of a society that is increasingly reliant on technology, suggesting that humans are becoming obsolete in the face of rapid technological advancements. The repetition of the title phrase "Humans" throughout the song represents the emptiness and loneliness brought about by this cold, mechanical world.

ZS is every thing I could possibly want in a bad-in-a-good-way movie: Extreme zombie gore, Roxy and Jenna are hot as shit and the music rocks. I'm just getting back into it, myself thanks to the film. And yeah, I'm pretty sure if Jesus came into the room saw what the Sarah Palin Party was doing within the last few years, he'd be just that pissed off.
