The banana for scale analogy is absolutely perfect. That's exactly why he's there.

I mean, part of why the Ghostbloods aren't selling Atium around is that Kelsier destroyed the Pits. You can't mine from the Pits of Hathsin anymore. So Stormlight is more viable as a portable investiture source.

@Codeseus

Aluminum works on Roshar because all of the allomantic metals interact with investiture in consistent ways. Remember in RoW epigraphs, Navani discusses different metals’ effects on fabrials.

Do you know the Origin of the Ghostblood Symbol?
small potential spoiler:

The Ghostblood symbol(Three Interlocking Diamonds) represents the Flower that Kelsier had a painting of from his wife. They are named Marewill flowers after her

I didn't hear Tress in your plans. Are you going to read that?

@matthewletexier

Idk if Trevor knows and is waiting to say or just doesn't know, but...
Spoilers? I'm not sure.

The metal is not invested or investiture. Any metal from any work (as long as it is viable) could work for allomancy or feruchemy. The metal acts as a key to preservations investiture. Burning metal allows the person to access investiture. The ability lies within the person, the metal is a key in the lock to access the power

@xy7596

This is correct but maybe just to clarify one thing a little:

An Allomancer doesnt actually have much(if any) extra Investiture inside them even with metals inside them. Only whilst burning does the Investiture flow through them directly from preservation. God Metals like Lerasium an Atium are an exeption to this because they are actually made of Investiture in solid form
