I don't need no license
To sign on no line
And I don't need no preacher
To tell me you're mine
I don't need no diamonds
I don't need no new bride
I just need you, baby
To look me in the eye
I know they have a hard time
And your Daddy don't approve
But I don't need you Daddy
Telling us what we should do
Now there's a million questions
I could ask about our lives
But I only need one answer
To get me thought the night
So, I say
Baby, can you tell me
Just where we fit in
I call it love
They call it living in sin
Is it you and me
Or just this world we live in
I say we're living on love
They say we're living in sin
Is it right for both our parents
Who fight it out most nights
Then pray for God's forgiveness
When they both turn out the lights
Or wear that ring of diamonds
When you heart is made of stone
You can talk but still say nothing
You stay together but alone
Or is it right to hold you
And kiss your lips goodnight
They say the promise is forever
If you sign it on the dotted line
Oh baby, can you tell me
Just where we fit in
I call it love
They call it living in sin
Is it you and me or
Just this world we live in
I say we're living on love
They say we're living in sin
Baby, can you tell me
Just where we fit in
I call it love
They call it living in sin
Is it you and me or
Just this world we live in
I call it love
They call it living in sin
I don't know where to begin
I don't know where we fit in
Living in sin
@supercaptainbatdoggy
The very best underrated gem on the New Jersey album.
@robertgoodwinr6523
It is.
@rodolfodiazzamarron3888
Damn right!!!!
@antuan_tt1809
Yes. For me it is one of the best 10 songs of Bon Jovi
@supercaptainbatdoggy
Hey I recently found out that the new Bon Jovi album, Forever, is due to be released June 7. The first single, Legendary, is already out. ⭐️💯

Graduated 1988 and this one brings back all the memories. So happy to have grown up in the 80’s. The best decade for rock music. Hairbands rule 👊🏼
@adriantrusca1245
You mean comercial radio pop rock that housekeepers shake their asses to while washing the dishes? Yeah, it's a good thing that thrash, death and black metal were starting to develop in the underground for real metal fans who wanted to be aggressive and avoid this sugary sweet radio shit.

I adore Richie singing high harmony to Jon. One of my favorite moments of all their songs is this here in the 2nd verse when they sing "when they both turn out the lights." Chills every time.
@jennydeyoung4539
The biggest missing piece is Richie's harmonies and their on stage and sing writing chemistry. I just saw them it still feels empty without Richie there . He was my favorite.
@nicolehein8285
I absolutely agree with you 100% on that. My favorite parts of all their songs are when Richie does what he does so well. 🙂
