1) The solo career of Jenn Champion; co-leader of Seattle's sorely missed Carissa's Wierd. On her second full-length record, Puking and Crying, Champion together with Josh Wackerly and Creighton Barrett, collect dark and hauntingly intimate songs, surely classified as organic even with the strange electronics, drum loops, blips and clicks involved. Puking and Crying has an up-close feel to it, a direct look into the songwriter.
2) S (Group S) is also a Korean trio with members Kang Ta, Lee Ji Hoon and Shin Hye Sung (of Shinhwa). S stands for "Supreme". They released their debut album, Fr.in.Cl, in September 2003 and in 2005 they participated with the new song 숨 (Breath) on the soundtrack for the Korean movie April Snow.

The price on my head
Is a woman
Falling in love is
The best way I found
Of wasting my time
Save me from myself
Sold Five Dollars
Won't be the last time
The room in my mind
Is upside down
Drawing in smoke is
The best way I found
Of getting high
Save me from myself right away
Sold Five Dollars
Sold Five Dollars
Save me from myself right away
Won't be the first time
She took all my money
And burnt my clothes
Maybe the last time
I'll put on this record
And rock and roll.
Save me from myself right away
Sold Five Dollars
Sold Five Dollars
Save me from myself right away
yeah yeah yeah - yeah yeah yeah
Tell me what it costs
Tell me what it costs
Baby’s gotta gun
Baby’s having fun
Baby's please
The lyrics to "5 Dollars" by S speak about the highs and lows of love, addiction, and heartache. The singer songwriter sets the scene with melancholic vocals, and soft, dreamy instrumentals. The opening lines, "Won't be the last time, the price on my head, is a woman" represent the notion that love can get expensive, draining and can take a toll on a person's emotional state. The theme seems to point to the idea that a woman's love is something that one has to pay for, and the price is often high. The chorus, "Save me from myself, sold five dollars" calls for help from the wearying effects of love, that have left the singer in a state of despair.
The second verse continues the pattern of the first, with the line "Won't be the last time, the room in my mind, is upside down." The emotions of love are causing chaos and disorder in the singer's mind. The line, "Drawing in smoke is the best way I found of getting high," is interesting as it suggests that addiction to substances is how the singer is getting by. This seems to conflict with the idea of wanting to be saved from oneself, but it can be interpreted as the desire to be saved from self-destructive habits.
The final verse appears to be reflective, with the singer recounting a past heartbreak, "She took all my money, and burnt my clothes," and the line, "Maybe the last time I'll put on this record and rock and roll" could signify the end of a chapter. The song's final chorus reinforces the call for rescue, serving as a plea perhaps, for someone, or something to pull the singer out of their despair.
