In April 2013, Taylor signed to 4AD. His first release through 4AD, Bloodflows, reached #1 on the Amazing Radio chart. In September, follow up track Lessons was released with an Olivier Groulx-directed, Dazed & Confused-premiered music video. In April 2014, debut album Tremors was released with lead single Artifice. The album charted in several European countries and received favorable reviews.
After temporarily trading Vienna for Northern California, SOHN spent several months alone writing and recording the ten tracks which form his sophomore LP 'Rennen' (January 2017). The album was preceded by 'Signal' and 'Conrad'.
Along with his own work, Taylor has also worked with other artists - writing and producing Banks's Alibi and Waiting Game, remixing Lana Del Rey's Ride, and producing songs on Rita Ora's new album.

what did he upgrade about the production, if i might ask? i think the song has the least of his character of most of his songs and his amazing production skills are actually quite simplified in this one, he's done much much more complex and outstanding music in a lot of other songs ... yes, you might take that as an upgrade, because the arrangement and the beat are easier to follow/listen to. it's not nearly as unique/special (to me) though as red lines, veto, waiting game and the whole tremors for that matter. btw, love the song also, but find "next level" comment quite an exaggeration as i see it as a jump closer to the mainstream (and so does he, believe me)

impalagasper damn you hit the nail.for a sec,I too thought that he stepped it up with this song.I feel hes definitely growing but then I also thought of how easily a song like this would be widely accepted because it has themes and sounds that are commonly used in mainstream music..as opposed to some of these other songs
