1)Salvador is a Christian band that blends their Latin heritage and contemporary pop songwriting. The band formed in 1999 in Austin, Texas.
Over the past 10 years in which Salvador has toured throughout the country and at times outside of it, a fan base began to rapidly grow. According to the members of the group, no matter how huge the fan base gets, they are still surprised and grateful to be a part of that environment, and even more surprising to them is that their fans keep coming and supporting.
Not only has growth been among the fans, but also within the group as well. Adding to the existing members of Nic Gonzales (lead vocals and guitar), his cousin Josh Gonzales (bass and background vocals), Chris Bevins (co-producer and keyboards), and Jared Solis (trombone and saxophone), the band completes its family with brass man Edwin Santiago (trumpet and flugelhorn), Ben Cordonero (drummer) and Robert Vilera (percussionist) . Nic Gonzales calls the three men Salvador’s “valuable acquisitions.” Cordonero, a Nicaraguan from Miami, not only plays the drums but also traditional Latin percussion such as congas, timbales and bongos. Santiago is a Boricua – of Puerto Rican decent -who brings not only amazing talent but an unending work ethic as well. And Vilera, an established session player who’s worked with Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan and Celia Cruz (to name a few) also brings more of the sonido Latina to the music and, ultimately, their fan base.
What is it that sets this record apart from other Christian albums and even Salvador’s previous ones? Three words: horns and percussion. According to the producers of album 'Dismiss the Mystery', there is a greater reliance on horns and percussion to take an already existing tapestry of excellent vocals, rhythm and strings, to a higher level of excellence creating nuances and gravitas that exudes a timeless capability.
Regarding the future of Salvador’s ability to keep creating in the face of growth, change and an unstable marketplace, one thing is for certain: after seven years of hard work culminating with Dismiss the Mystery, it is impossible to dismiss their undeniable musicianship, and the only mystery left at this point is what can they possibly do next to top it.

Yeah
Pi-Pi-Pizda, ogień wjechał proszek robię wsad
Be-be-beta robi wziu, twoją sukę robi skład (wzium)
3cmc to jej ulubiony głaz
Suka zrzuca stanik, biorę prochu cztery gramy
Za-za-zajebany nosek, ale musisz to poprawić (grrra)
Robiłem karabin, nie płaczę za kurwami
Pi-Pi-Pizda, ogień wjechał proszek robię wsad
Be-be-beta robi wziu, twoją sukę robi skład (wzium)
3cmc to jej ulubiony głaz (grrra)
Ruchanie w szyję, jebać kukoldowy trap
Pi-Pi-Pizda, ogień wjechał proszek robię wsad (wsad, wsad)
Be-be-beta robi wziu, twoją sukę robi skład (skład, skład)
3cmc to jej ulubiony głaz (grrra)
Ruchanie w szyję, jebać kukoldowy trap
Pi-pi-pizda
Chociaż pewnie nawet tego suka nie pamięta
Pi-pi-pizda
Jebać kukoldowy trap
The lyrics to Salvador's song P3DOB3AR, especially as delivered by Bulletproof Mike, delve into a raw and gritty narrative centered around drug use, hedonism, and a reckless lifestyle. The opening lines set the tone with vivid imagery of drug ingestion and the subsequent effects it has on the singer. The references to "proszek" (powder), "wziu" (intoxicating substance), and a favorite drug dosage of '3cmc' allude to a culture of substance abuse and dependency. The bold declaration of engaging in unconventional sexual practices further adds to the edgy nature of the lyrics, portraying a sense of rebellion and nonconformity.
The recurring motif of escapism and self-destructive behaviors is reinforced throughout the lyrics, symbolized by the reckless abandon and disregard for consequences. The comparison to a "wild drive like P3DOB3AR" paints a picture of living on the edge, embracing danger, and seeking excitement in risky endeavors. The imagery of taking drugs non-stop until "zajebałem całą flotę" (wiping out the entire stock) emphasizes a cycle of excess and seeking thrill at any cost, mirroring a self-destructive spiral akin to the namesake figure.
The verses also touch upon themes of disillusionment and detachment from reality. The dismissal of societal norms and interpersonal connections is evident in the portrayal of superficial relationships and fleeting encounters. The confrontational language used towards a partner who is described as forgetful and unreliable further underscores a sense of alienation and emotional detachment, exemplifying a cold and detached outlook on human interaction.
As the lyrics progress, there is a juxtaposition between a sense of empowerment and vulnerability. The imagery of explosives and defiance ("Wypierdalam jak dynamit") is counterbalanced by moments of vulnerability and introspection, as evident in the lines "ale musisz to poprawić" (but you have to fix that). This duality showcases a complex and conflicted persona, oscillating between bravado and fragility, ultimately painting a portrait of a tumultuous and turbulent inner world. The closing repetition of "Pi-pi-pizda" and "Jebać kukoldowy trap" serves as a provocative and defiant statement, encapsulating the defiance and rebellious spirit that permeates the entirety of the song.
