Let the truth remind you
Now that I found you
Only love surrounds you
Now that I found you
Let the truth remind you
Now that I found you
I can't seem to remember this feeling we get
But I'm hearing it call my name
I've been waiting for so long to understand
That it takes time to come again
That it takes time to come again
Tara, layada, layada, layada
Layada, layada, laya
Parara, layada, layada, layada
Layada, layada, laya
Tara, layada, layada, layada
Layada, layada, laya
Parara, layada, layada, layada
Layada, layada, laya
Now that I found you
Let the truth remind you
Now that I found you
Only love surrounds you
Now that I found you
Let the truth remind you
Now that I found you
Only love surrounds you
I've been waiting for so long to feel this way
And it's easy to understand
I see something in your eyes I can't forget
And I know that you see the same
I know that you see the same
Tara, layada, layada, layada
Layada, layada, laya
Parara, layada, layada, layada
Layada, layada, laya
Tara, layada, layada, layada
Layada, layada, laya
Parara, layada, layada, layada
Layada, layada, laya
Now I fin'lly see the truth in my life
Now that I found you I can feel the sun come alive
Now I fin'lly see the truth in my life
Now that I found you I could feel the sun come alive
The lyrics of Samantha James's song "I Found You" express the joy and relief felt upon finding true love. The song urges the beloved to let the truth remind them that only love surrounds them now that they have been found. The singer cannot remember feeling this way before but feels called toward their beloved. They have been waiting for so long to understand that it takes time for love to come again. The chorus repeats, "Now that I found you, let the truth remind you, only love surrounds you," emphasizing the transformative power of love on one's perspective.
Despite the lack of clear story in the lyrics, Samantha James creates a compelling mood through her ethereal voice, electronic beats, and piano flourishes. The main takeaway is the relief that comes from finding love after one has searched so long. The chant-like "Tara, layada, layada, layada," adds to the dreamy, otherworldly quality of the song. It almost feels like a mystical incantation repeated by the singer as they rejoice in their newfound love.

Samantha continues to amaze me the more I listen to her music. The more I listen the more I'm mesmerized. This woman is one of the better talents out their. I'm a huge smooth Jazz fan, striking similarities to Maxine Hardcastle(Paul Hardcastles daughter). Truly amazing!
