Evil Ways
Santana Lyrics
You've got to change your evil ways, baby
Before I stop lovin' you
You've got to change, baby
And every word that I say is true
You got me runnin' and hidin' all over town
You got me sneakin' and a-peepin' and runnin' you down
This can't go on, lord knows you got to change, baby
Baby, when I come home, baby
My house is dark and my pots are cold
With Jean and Joan and-a who knows who
I'm gettin' tried of waitin' and foolin' around
I'll find somebody that won't make me feel like a clown
This can't go on, lord knows you got to change
Hey
When I come home, baby
My house is dark and my pots are cold
You're hangin' round, baby
With Jean and Joan and-a who knows who
I'm gettin' tried of waitin' and foolin' around
I'll find somebody who won't make me feel like a clown
This can't go on, yeah-yeah-yeah

You've got to change your evil ways, baby,

Your right, but probably also the guy who shows up at the party with a case of the best beer, just for himself.
Just an opinion from some guy who used to set up flooring and staging, for Carlos, and others.
Yupp. 🍺
Now I'll restart it shut the fuck ☝ and just listen for my damn self.
My fault for scrolling.

I remember one summer night MANY years ago my band was rehearsing this song outside on my parents' patio. We were into the song when we began to notice the yard was beginning to fill with people from the neighborhood and the apartments nearby. They were dancing and singing. The out of somewhere two PG County Police officers showed up and stood watching us and the people for several minutes. They spoke to a couple of people then after about 10 minutes they just left. I asked one person what he said to her. She just smiled and said, "They were wondering if the music was bothering anyone. I told him Heck No.... we are really enjoying it!" THANK YOU CARLOS SANTANA!

I was privileged to see them at the Bath Festival 1970 during their first UK tour, still listening 2021, 73yrs years old and still rocking with the best of them. It's heartening to see young people picking up with the music.
