The lyrics of Scala's song Ohne Dich express the feelings of a person who is trying to cope with a break-up. The first verse indicates the boredom and frustration that the person is facing due to the separation. The person counts the rings on their hand and starts imagining shadows of their former partner on the walls. Ja von wegen! Das Original stammt immer noch von Selig!! Untersteh dich das Glashaus oder Frau Steen zuzuschanzen..!! Niemand kann den Schmerz der in diesem Lied steckt besser ausdrücken, als der Erschaffer dieser Zeilen, Jan Plewka. Das Original ist ein Meisterwerk, weil er es einfach nur rauskotzt, wie es ihm geht. Ich habe auf Deutsch bis jetzt nichts vergleichbares an Emotion erlebt. Es ist wahnsinnig schade, dass es diese band nicht mehr gibt.
