My Lowd
Scarecrow Blues Hip Hop Lyrics

You wanna protect me?
Just come in my home everything is free
Some guys upstairs gives you the sheriff star
For the control of me they gotta????
Come on chief do the police
Some guys upstair told you I'm a thief
But I'm not alone and we're waiting for you
Here's a???? in your face, what else can we do?

You wanna protect me?
Just come in my home everything is free
Some guys upstairs gives you the sheriff star
For the control of me they gotta????
Come on chief do the police
Some guys upstair told you I'm a thief
But I'm not alone and we're waiting for you
Here's a???? in your face, what else can we do?
You wanna protect me?
Just come in my home everything is free
Some guys upstairs gives you the sheriff star
For the control of me they gotta????
Come on chief do the police
Some guys upstair told you I'm a thief
But we're not alone and we're waiting for you
Here's a???? in your face, what else can we do?
Who do you think you are?
To rape my secret garden
Who do you think I am?
To survive in the city
Well have mercy mercy mercy on us
Poor people this my call to the voice????
And don't let, don't let them enter your world
Don't let them burn your cloud
Cause they're not going to let you ask you why
Now that my door is open to my crew
But you just want to protect me
And come in my home everything is free
Some guys upstairs gives you the sheriff star
For the control of me they gotta????
Come on chief do the police
Some guys upstair told you I'm a thief
But I'm not alone and we're waiting for you
But I'm not alone

Overall Meaning

The Scarecrow's song "My Lowd" is an anthem of rebellion against oppressive authority and the loss of individual freedom. The lyrics are in both English and French, which adds to the sense of international unity in the face of oppression. The song opens with an invitation to the authorities to come and see that everything in the singer's home is free, meaning there is nothing to steal. However, the authorities give the sheriff's star to some guys upstairs, who seem to be controlling the singer. The singer then tells the police chief to do his job and come to arrest him, as the guys upstairs have told him he's a thief. But the singer is not alone and is waiting for the authorities to come and face them.

In the French part of the song, the Scarecrow expresses his disgust with the power of laws and the repression that surrounds him. He feels that freedom is only an image of a child's mind, and that propaganda is brainwashing people through the power of the small screen. The Scarecrow criticizes the current trend of enslavement and domination, which leads to people becoming slaves with yellowish skin. The aim is to go higher in life so as not to be bothered by idiots sitting on their throne. There is a note of bitterness in the words as he speaks of populism blinding people, extremism going through its bruised and backward-looking troops, and greed triumphing through the faces of egoistic officials.

Overall, the song is an emotional and powerful reminder that freedom should not be taken for granted, and that people should stand up against oppression of any kind.
