Jingle Bells

In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight
Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
We got into a drifted bank
And then we got upsot
Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh yeah
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
The School Gyrls' version of "Jingle Bells" is a modern take on the classic Christmas song. The first verse describes a fun sleigh ride through the snow, with the sound of the bells on the horses' tails filling the air and spreading holiday cheer. The chorus is a joyful exclamation of the joy of riding in a one horse open sleigh, highlighted by the repeated phrase "jingle all the way."
The second verse introduces a character named Miss Fanny Bright, who joins the singer on their jaunt. However, their ride takes a turn for the worse when the horse they are riding becomes stuck in a snowdrift (referred to as a "drifted bank" in the song). Despite this mishap, the chorus returns with the same ebullience as before, celebrating the fun and joy of the holiday season.
