The best pirate game out there. Toledo outfit with hat while ramming a frigate and jumping aboard in the middle of a storm and captain jack sparrowing every mf between you and the captain. That was a video game experience I looked for since I was a kid thanks ubisoft devs.

After Edward was Assassinated by a Traitor(the guy who became an Assassin but he was Templar actually) His Son our good old buddy Heytham was took by Templars and he was working for them, you know going around the World killing People, Assassins etc... But he was kid he didn't know that his father was an Assassin Mentor. So when he was sent to America to open that door. After you finished with his story when the Connors story began, he get back to England and he killed The Grand Master and he named himself as Grand Master, before he killed him he found out everything, so his Sister was sold to Ottomans, so he rescue her(you have the whole story on Assassin's Creed Wikipedia) so she get back to London and Heytham returned to America as The Templar Grand Master. Then AC Rogue story started and yeah that's it pretty much. Heytham Kenway was a lot of things but he loved his Father and Sister he took his revenge for them. Even that he realized that his father was English Master Assassin he still didn't wanted to become Assassin. He named himself as Grand Master, he didn't believe in Brotherhood, maybe he took his revenge but still The Templars Changed him. He died for believing in Templars, he wanted to kill his son for Templars. Edward was the only Kenway who didn't fight for Revenge(Connor) and Believing in Wrong Things(Heytham), he fight for better life, Nice House, Food, Money for better life that's why he became a Pirate, the Assassin thing came later. I hope I helped you, I hope I didn't write all of this for nothing. Stay safe mate.

Worth noting that at the time the British tried to take Cuba, there was no sugar industry in Cuba. That came much later after Haiti rebelled against the French and sugar production collapsed there.
