Born and raised in Troy, New York, Rowe started playing music at an early age. He received a bass guitar from his father on his 12th birthday and performed in a local band. After receiving an acoustic guitar as a gift from his uncle, Rowe began playing solo.
Since 2003, Rowe played locally in his hometown at open mics, bars and cafes. He began playing with percussionist Marco Haber , who played on a few tracks on his first album 27. Shortly thereafter they began playing under the name Mudfunk and recorded a live album, Live at the Grind, as well as a single of Wrong Side Of The Bed. The latter would be re-recorded for Sean's solo album, Magic, without Haber and with different instrumentation. Sean Rowe now records for ANTI- Records.

Though my hands are very cold
Though my pockets may be empty
I intend to find you on my own
Though the music has been fading
Though the cellos have gone home
The piano has been waiting
To play a note
I wrap my arm around your side
Put your hand where you can feel me
In this moment we're alive
In this moment we can die free
How can I make you understand
Sean Rowe's song "Old Shoes" is a passionate yet melancholic song about a man on a journey in search of his lost love. The opening lines "Though my shoes are not for winter, Though my hands are very cold" express the difficult journey the singer has undertaken to find his beloved. He may not be fully equipped for the harsh conditions of winter, but he is determined to continue his quest.
The second verse signifies the singer's emotional state, as the music fades and the cellos go home. The piano is waiting for a lonely man to play a note, which is quite symbolic of how the singer sees himself. He is a lonely man searching for his love, and the world around him seems dark and empty without her. The chorus "I wrap my arm around your side, Put your hand where you can feel me, In this moment, we're alive, In this moment, we can die free," is a beautiful and powerful expression of his desire to be united with his love.
The final verse "How can I make you understand?" is a poignant expression of his frustration and desperation. He is struggling to make his love see how much he cares for her, and how much he is willing to do to be with her again. The song is a beautiful, intimate portrayal of a man's enduring love, and his willingness to go to great lengths to find his love and be with her.

Sean Rowe has what so many modern musicians lack - passion and sincerity. His songs are original and his delivery is heartfelt. Most of the music industry just cranks out songs to fill albums. Sean fills the soul. Keep it up, Sean!

I've tried to cover this. His range is crazy though. Obviously deep, but his high "ooooo" is really high.
